Astro Boy is a young robot from futuristic Metro City. Created by a brilliant scientist named Tenma and powered by pure positive "blue" energy that gives him such abilities as x-ray vision, inhuman speed, and flight, the wide-eyed android longs to find his true place in the world. He sets out on an epic journey that brings him face to face with an underworld army of robots and some of the strangest creatures ever to walk the Earth, and along the way learns to experience human feelings and emotions. "Astro Boy" is well produced and is very entertaining. There was plenty of comedy to keep the movie light and lots of action to keep things moving. There are many endearing characters in this movie and interesting villains also. All in all, well and cleverly done. I recommend this to anyone who wants some light-hearted entertainment.

Astro Boy got skewered by critics and did terribly at the box-office, but it really wasn't as bad as the reviewers or IMDB's low rating suggest. Of all the Japanese to US adaptations to come along in the last 10 years or so, this is certainly not the worst. Godzilla, Speed Racer [Blu-ray], and the abysmal Dragonball: Evolution come to mind (please don't ever watch that last one!). Astro Boy does a fairly good job of bringing Osamu Tezuka's iconic creation -- now almost 60 years old -- into the 21st Century and putting it in front of a new generation of fans. Die-hard fans will surely bristle at some of the changes, but certain liberties were taken for this American production, such as slightly altering Astro's face and modifying some of the names (Professor Ochanomizu becomes Elefun), but the look of the main characters are more or less faithful. The producers also gave Toby/Astro clothes because going topless nowadays in a film would just be weird for modern audiences.

Storywise, the plot is very average and well-trodden, but it's aimed at kids, who may not care much about originality. A predictably ego-maniacal politician, President Stone, seizes a new scientific discovery (meteor power core) to power a military robot called "The Peacekeeper" in order to bolster his popularity for an upcoming election. Things go wrong, as they inevitably do with the ill-conceived plans of villains, then Atom comes to save the day. In the middle is a stretch of plot about Toby becoming an outcast and leaving the floating metropolis Metro City to discover his destiny amidst the rubbish, castaways, and orphaned kids of the surface world. Astro Boy is partly Pinocchio, partly A.I. - Artificial Intelligence, partly WALL-E, and partly pure sci-fi summer blockbuster action. The voice cast turns in a decent performance, with the exception of Donald Sutherland as Stone, who is leaden and monotone.

If you're willing to let yourself go and take in the gorgeous CGI and beautifully rendered artwork, you might enjoy this animation. Visually, the film looks amazing, and you should really see it in hi-def instead of DVD. Produced by a HK-based animation studio, the sets are detailed and the film just looks stunning. Overall, not a bad film and certainly enjoyable by kids and adults alike.

What a fun, cool, movie! Astro Boy was one awesome ride! It has action, a wonderful voice cast and the animation is beautiful! (Sometimes some of us need a break from 3D) Now I'm a HUGE anime fan so I was really looking forward to seeing this movie and I loved every second. And I really believe, Astro Boy could be a movie for a lot of children to like maybe not little ones. But for kids who love superheroes Astro Boy IMO is perfect! My family loved it! And on Blue Ray it's amazing just too look at! Astro Boy is truly one of my favorite movies that I have seen in a LONG time! =)

This is one of the great westerns. Val Kilmer, Kurt Russel, Sam Elliot and even Jason Priestly give the best performances of their careers.
Actually Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday is one of my favorite characters in any movie and Kurt Russel is perfect as Wyatt Earp.
They lose a star for leaving out the extra 4 important minutes available on the fine DVD Directors Cut edition. It already exists so why leave it out? Here's a review that explains the extra scenes. [...]

4stars - "One of the great westerns" (Eryn B)

I doubt that anyone will be ordering this Blu-Ray disc just for the sake of ordering Blu-Ray. If that were the case, why order THIS rather than some OTHER Blu-Ray? No, you're here because you're considering the movie, and that's what I will describe.

First, you should know that the film is historically very accurate. There are a few lines put into other people's mouths, or this guy escapes with his life when in reality it was that other guy, but you can pretty much find all those details in the trivia page for this film on the Internet Movie Database (www dot imdb dot com). Indeed, one of the potential weaknesses of the film is that it is so accurate a portrayal. It doesn't just lead up to the apocalyptic gun battle at the OK corral and end there, with the good guys winning; it follows the characters for years afterward, in most cases right up to the moment of their death. Along the way it portrays a number of unbelievable scenes that eyewitnesses confirmed as truth, not legend. What this means is that about the last 45 minutes of the movie may feel like it goes on too long. In fact, this long denouement gives "Tombstone" some of the wistful feel of "Unforgiven," another Western that does not glamorize violence.

Next, you should know that Val Kilmer takes the world to acting school in this film. As Doc Holliday he breathes so much life into this character that everyone else on screen seems to fade into the woodwork. Kurt Russell is an underrated actor; he's actually pretty bleeping good. But next to Val Kilmer he looks like a community theater extra next to Olivier. I have about a dozen scenes from this movie stuck in my head, as if they were engraved. One features Kurt Russell. The others all feature Kilmer. Among others, you should play and re-play and re-re-play the moment where Klimer says, "you may go now." It is the finest portrayal of polite contempt I have ever seen, live or on film.

Third, as Westerns go, you can take the first half or so as a good old-fashioned western and the second half as a more modern Greek tragedy. As long as you're up for that, this is one of the best films you could choose, which repays multiple viewings. If you want a western more like John Wayne and John Ford made, this probably isn't for you, but if you enjoy a postmodern Western morality play, you can't go wrong. Kudos for this re-release of a genuinely great film!

Great that there coming out with Tombstone but they should have put both versions on the disc. And lets hope that the transfer is good. Or we will have another Gangs of New York or Gladiator issue. I hope these company's will be good enough to release a great looking movie before they throw it on the shelves. Hell I know they just want money thats why they release the barebones or crap version first. Then wait 3 months and release what everyone wanted. DVD did it why not Blu-ray I guess.

5stars - "DC or Not, a Great Movie!" (Neil Klemek)

This is a movie I've enjoyed numerous times and will look forward to adding it to my BD Collection - it's truly deserving of Blu Ray treatment.

The casts blends so well and it blows away the Westerns I viewed growing up. Historically they likely weren't so cool and attractive in reality but they do a job of matching what our minds may have perceived who these folks were in the Wild West. There's a little bit of everything in this film.

It's sad that a Amazon Reviewer comes into Amazon and trashes a movie because it's not a Directors Cut. Considering the age of the film now perhaps they had no DC as all the extra content has become expanded with BD capability but he should never have trashed the film because he didn't favor the type of cut - one has nothing to do with the other - if it's not the version you want don't buy it but trashing it with your rating is childish and selfish at best! Others take heed where reviewers abuse their responsibility in posting ratings and his is an abuse of that privilege!

have to admit the concept was kinda cool but it was a very lame action movie hardly any action in it there were things that didnt make sense like if your using a robot and the other person is using a robot how does that solve anything like wars if someone gets hit u just plug in a new robot or robots having sex with robots how does that do anything for anyone

Daniel Day or Robert DeNiro never acted in movies like Bruce Willis. And as good as they are as actors, they can never play an every man as effectively as Bruce Willis. I bought "Surrogates" on dvd, watched it, and thought it was a pretty good movie. Bruce Willis is a gifted actor, who plays his roles very well. Willis is able to elevate drama, tension and action to its fullest on-screen.

What a nice surprise discovering this sci-fi gem in our video-shop, fully and masterfully restored.

I saw this movie, starring a VERY young Bruce Willis, with my father in the early eighties.

Being totally freaked out by the movie, my first sci-fi experience at the age of 10 years, I remember my father saying: "You just watch that youngster Bruce Willis -- one day he will be a super star. (Little did I know...)

Only today, almost 30 years later, I can really appreciate the scientific insight the producers showed at the time:

1. Most of the vehicles in the movie resembles 2006+ models -- its almost scary that the futuristic cars that impressed me so much as a kid, turned out to be spot-on in their design.

2. Look out when a memory stick is used with the computers -- what an amazing insight of the designers who did the graphics.

3. Kudos to the make-up-artists who 'aged' Bruce Willis so masterfully that even this Die-Hard-fan cannot tell the difference between the 'aged' Bruce and the present-day-Bruce.

I am just gratefull that the Secrete Weapon to kill off the surrogates, only materialized as a Taser in real life! -- but again, what an insight the writer had into the future.

This movie is a must have in any sci-fi-collection.

This movie is about letting go for a couple of hours, and getting into the "Mind of Madness". To be able to see how reasonable, unreasonable things, seem to a disturbed mind. It is allowing you, for a couple of hours, to experience something you may never have experienced, without the magic of movies. So be prepared to spend a little time harmlessly embracing madness, in order to give yourself a fuller experience.

When you "Freak Out" about a movie that you clearly do not understand, it doesn't help your credibility.

This Blu-Ray is a Chinese import from Hong Kong. There may be nothing wrong with it, but Amazon really should make that clear in their listing. There is no USA Blu-Ray release of this film. Nor will there be any time soon, as Miramax has gone under. If you want to be guaranteed the best import version currently available, track down the Danish import. It's Region Free, and the audio/video are outstanding.

What can I say my stoner ex-girlfriend made me watch this movie. It nearly had me in tears when I was an hour in and realized that there was still 2 more to go. I'm lucky I keep my hair short because by time I got down to the last 30 minutes I wanted to rip my hair out. It was the most boring piece of crap I have ever watched. With one exception if you are a stoner you'll love this movie blazed because I assume that when you are flying high you just don't care how truly terrible this movie really is.

(Update) As requested I'll post some more information as to why this movie sucks. The plot is pointless. I understand the concept, but if I spend the whole movie bored because scene after scene goes on and on then it takes away any interest in the characters or what's happening. I do stand by my stoner comment though. This is terrible. Maybe if I had some better ganja it might get another star, but since I don't smoke anymore that doesn't seem too likely.

If you know some of my other reviews, I don't hate Michael Bay. I am the ONLY nitpicky film fan in the world who considers Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen one of his favorite movies, and I don't get impressed by many movies. Armageddon is good for matinee fun, and it's an entertaining blockbuster at first glance. However, even though I could easily just turn off my brain completely, with it's glaring problems, there's no way I'm going to let it slide. I'm putting my foot down on a movie that is good entertainment.

Make no mistake, Armageddon is a fun movie. Bay once again shows his cutting edge visual style (for 1998, anyway), and the plot itself is fine. There are some memorable moments in this movie. The training scene set to Sweet Emotion is great, and space itself looks great. The launch scene is cool, and Bay once agian has plenty of cool space and military equipment on screen. Unlike Emmerich, who often has a problem (I don't dislike Emmerich though) making characters likeable in any way (it's kind of bad when I don't care about my favorite actor), the characters here really aren't that annoying, even though there not that memorable. Bay's directing style is great, with cool establishing shots, extreme slow motion, and a good knack for displaying great looking images of structures and places.

The action sequences here are great to watch, as it has plenty of carnage done Bay style. Many people critize Bay for cutting too fast, but really, for me, it's more energetic and rollercoaster like, not confusing. Many people say that his movies make no sense in the action scenes, but close inspection shows that they are, while sometimes hard to follow, not THAT hard to follow. They flow better than expected, and unless you spend most time pondering each frame, well don't. Surprisingly, the aestroids sound kind of weak, but they certainly make some great looking destruction. The jaw dropping scenes where Paris goes up in Rubble is a BIG highlight. I thought Deep Impact had better meteor sequences, but Armageddon is loud and fun, as long as you don't think of why it's happening.

So when it comes to entertaining blockbusters, Armageddon is a great movie. It has action, great visuals courtsey of Bay, a relatable plot, and a healthy dose of Americana, not exactly always a bad thing even though it's often robbed for commericial purposes (Bay actually has a love for Americana, so it's a bit easier to believe from Bay than it is from Proctor and Gambol). A little hammy at times, but reasonably enteratining. All well and good, except for one important thing.

IT'S INSULTING. Tt's the massive plot holes and disregards for science that really miffs me, pretty much ruining the whole thing. Suspension of disbelief is fine, but suspension of science is another thing. Even movies like 2012 don't necessarily bend science TOO much (then again, it's just a movie). Armageddon, on the other hand, has such a disregard for science it's insulting for the viewer. He's basically asking us to believe and swallow all of this, no questions asked. According to NASA, there are a total of 168 things that are impossible (not counting potential plot holes) regardindg science. As a matter of fact, this movie is a training tool for NASA management training program, did you know that? NASA tests their recruits by asking them to identify as many scientifically inaccuracies as they can.

Get the gist? The movies' science is elevated to Ed Wood, only done with a budget of 150 million dollars. Only it takes itself way too seriously. And without none of the charms of Ed. Ed Wood maybe had an excuse. Bay doesn't. If the movie wasn't this inaccurate, I would enjoy it a lot more. But it isn't. Therefore, I have to put my foot down for this one. Armageddon is just too insulting to be considered anything more than average.

As for logic? Oh boy, where' the fun in this one? Ho hum! Well, okay. Nevermind. Well, let me just end with this quote right now, not necessarily exactly said as so.

Ben Affleck: [Wouldn't it be easier for NASA to train astronauts how to drill rather than training drillers to be astronoauts?]

Armageddon is a reasonably fun movie, but as Roger Ebert said for his review of Emmerich's big stinker Godzilla, "You have to absorb such a film, not consider it. But my brain rebelled, and instead applied logic where it was not welcome". There's just too much bull______ here that I just can't respect this movie as Bay-inspired fun. Sorry, Bay, stick to alien robots, unfunny buddy cops, cloning, and skin eating diseases. Leave science alone. 168 impossible things in one movie is not acceptable.

One last thing. Michael Clarke Duncan dancing around in underwear gets my vote for most disturbing and eye-ball gouge worthy scene of the 90's.

3stars - "Fun, but I'm Putting My Foot Down For This One 50%" (Quentin Tarantino Fan)

This is an abominable mess of a movie. Earth seems doomed when astronomers discover a 500-mile wide asteroid hurtling toward us. In a plan worthy of Wile E. Coyote, an oil-drilling crew that is as violent as a Chicago street gang will save the planet by flying up in a Shuttle, landing on said meteor, drilling an 800-foot (!) hole, and inserting a nuclear warhead, which will blow that bad boy in two, so that half skims past Earth on each side. Along the way they have many chances for snappy tough-guy dialogue, Olympic-level gymnastics, blasting away with truck-mounted machine guns, flashing their leopard-print underwear, bulling through the forces of Nature by raw grit and determination, and oh Lord why am I going on? Insultingly stupid, ridden with cliches, and larded with an embarrassing excuse for patriotism that is nothing but cynical bait thrown at the feet of the most foolish and gullible of ticket-buyers.

And will someone explain to us all just why the bleeping gosh-darn blankety heck you bring a TRUCK MOUNTED MACHINE GUN TO AN UNINHABITED ASTEROID? Or why an 800-foot-deep hole somehow gives you the edge on busting up a 500-MILE-wide asteroid? Or how any nuclear warhead, even the 100-megaton beast that only the Soviets ever had, would even make a dent in a 500-mile-wide asteroid, whose gravity alone would probably make the pieces separate by about a hundred feet and then come right back together? Oh, but Bruce Willis really means business! No asteroid would DARE!

From an industry that has never been long on respect for its customers' intelligence, this film ranks as among the largest and most viscous gobs of phlegm ever spit into the face of the viewing public. Every person involved in its production should receive at least two of the bullets in the head that its viewers so desperately craved while it was running. I don't care if this DVD has special effects worthy of Norse mythology, bonus features including a free cure for leprosy, or a solid-gold manhole cover dangling from it on a chain: the movie itself is so vile as to bankrupt the English language's power to describe. In a life made up of only 600,000 hours, no one, not even Death Row inmates, should be forced to spend two of them watching this Lovecraftian monstrosity.

1stars - "Confounds the question: How stupid can you get?" (Derek Grimmell)

If you want to see a movie with loud action, awesome special effects and pure destruction (even though it's content is absurd) this is the movie for you. I might warn you, there are some real cheesy scenes that might make your eyes bleed.

I am no astronaut, nor do I work for NASA or even worse ever read a book about space, and yet I found load of things when I saw this in the movies 12 years ago that it was impossible for it to happen, but yet since it is for entertainment purposes I tried not to care much for it. The asteroid shower being all of a sudden unexpected in the beginning of the film can be an insult to moviegoers IQ and the fact that you have to drill in a huge asteroid -supposedly the size of Texas- a warhead in order to destroy `the bitch' might be as well too fiction, but in the long run it is a typical blockbuster film and not a documentary from the Discovery Channel.

Filled with a fun cast and special effects that are still fresh `til this date, Armageddon might be the movie you need to watch whenever you want to see a movie that contains any of the following items from my first sentence. The writers of the movie are the ones to blame for the illogical sequences mention (and those are just a few) but I found the directing by Michael Bay quite impressive.

3stars - "One of the most entertaining fables" (Carlos Donoso Kronfle)

This movie epitomizes the literary phrase "Suspension of Disbelief", which means absolutely preposterous. That doesn't always mean terrible. This movie has one of the craziest and most implausible plot points in movie history. They get great actors to sound excited about the perils and pitfalls of drilling into the hardest metal imaginable on an asteroid headed for earth. The U.S. Space Shuttles can barely reenter our own atmosphere without pieces falling off of it. YET, they manage to land on an asteroid that makes Moab in Utah look like a safe haven for supersonic touchdowns. I'm going to ask my physics professor buddy about the actual effects of explosions or A-bomb explosions in an atmosphere of no oxygen.

This was my number #2 bad movie of all time until I rented a wacky space drama with NO movie stars at the Red Box machine, and the previous renter even wrote "This is the worst movie ever" right on the disc, it was. This movie entry gets knocked down to a tie with Day After Tomorrow as the third worst ever. Without really good actors here, I guarantee you that no one would ever have given Armageddon more than one star. It is ONLY star driven, and NOT a plot driven movie. If you call it a popcorn movie deluxe, better add in plenty of cocktails with that buttery treat, and a good nap before it is over. Reviewers and fans hate giving movies bad reviews that have good actors being caught in bad movies, because they have done good or great movies. Billy Bob, Willis, Buscemi, Duncan, and more stars, have made classic movies in their own right.

The number three worst ever, I'm watching it right now, until something better falls on my head, Day After Tomorrow. Fun scenes of diaster in 5.1 sound, but ridiculously unbelieveable. You ask, what is the worst, The Core. Same scenario, great actors doing scenes that you couldn't dream up in a million years. In fact, you can't give any movie a "NO STARS" review at Amazon, and Armageddon deserves it too. The sequel to Armageddon could be called, Moon Apocalypse; One Million Nukes! AND starring Russel Crowe so someone will buy a ticket. LOL.

Again - don't let the movie snobs fool you; this is a really good flick. I am excited to see (and hear) this on Blu-Ray. Armageddon is easily this is one of the best action flicks of the 1990's and will take any viewer back decades to old science fiction stories of the 1950's and 60's found in movies and comics. It really is traditional story telling in its purest form. It contains the perfect mix of humor, action and suspense. Is this film deserving of an Academy Award? Well, no...but it is a good flick for a boring Friday or Saturday night! Enjoy...

This is Bruce Willis' defining collection, The Die Hard Tetralogy. As a huge Bruce Willis fan I was very excited to get this because it's a 4-disc set of his greatest movies ever. I really don't have a favorite movie because this is a very rarely collection, in that each film is as good as the last/next.

Each disc includes a TON of extras, too. Each movie/disc includes trailers, featurettes, movies, documentaries, interviews, bonus clips and alternate endings. I especially enjoyed the "Die Hard With a Vengeance" alternate ending. It was so funny and so different from how the movie actually ended.

All of the movies look pristine in 1080p blu-ray. I never saw Bruce look or sound so great. This includes 'lossless audio' as well as 'smart menu technology' (the ability to use the menu while the movie is up on the screen).

This comes packaged in a standard blu ray case and the size of this 4-disc collection is roughly the size of 1 standard DVD. Isn't that cool? Each disc includes a color silkscreen picture of Bruce from that particular movie, as well.

I understand Bruce is in negotiations to make "Die Hard 5" and can only imagine that it will be just as exciting and thrilling as these 4 movies are. If you have any interest in action, adventure and even comedy you must get this set.

This is actually 4 individual blu-ray disk. When I looked up details it said 2 double sided disks. I was surprised and please that it was 4 separate disks. My family watched them all over the holidays. The picture was very clear much better then those TV marathons that are supposed to be HD broadcasts. Was well worth the money I spent on the collection.

Am I the only one with no DTS-HD audio for Die Hard 2? I just recieved a replacement for this set because the first one had no DTS-HD audio for Die Hard 2. All the other discs are fine. Its as if the disc does not have it because when you select it from the menu no sound comes out but other audio options work correctly.

The first three are the same romps they've always been, only they look tremendous in a very nice BluRay HiDef transfer. This is a great buy on those merits alone, however, I dropped two of my stars for a very aggravating omission from the set. In hindsight, I did it to myself by not reading deeper into the product description.

I own the previous DVD collection which includes both a theatrical AND unrated version of Live Free of Die Hard. The unrated has been completely sapped from the BluRay treatment. As a lifelong fan of these movies I found that Live Free was actually a good time, and really in the same spirit as the others while in it's unrated form. This was the McLane we've known all along, not watered down to appeal to (and be accessible to) a younger (PG-13) crowd.

Why was my option to watch the REAL McLane in Live Free taken away for this set? Now it ensures that I have to retain an inferior DVD for my shelf instead of allowing these BluRays to condense my collection.

Bad move Fox. Bad, bad move.

say FUN..im sorry there were folks expecting more or different or younger

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
It would seem that Indiana Jones is what most men want to be; brave, heroic smart, and adventurous. But can a movie that has had a nineteen year gap between its third and fourth film be as successful as its earlier films? Can the magic of the first few films be recaptured since its star, Harrison Ford, is now older and movie making has changed so much? I think they did a great job recapturing the movies and adding new features into the movie but still remaining true to the original three films.

If I had to rank all four of the Indiana Jones movies I would have to say that this one would be my third favorite after The Raiders of the Lost Arc and The Last Crusade. The first and third movies seemed to have an underlining view that God did exist and that it was more of a search for God. I was disappointed to see that The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull took on a theme more like The Temple of Doom. The Raiders of the Lost Arc and The Last Crusade had a sense of reality to them that made the story believable and the scene with the aliens takes away that reality. It was nice to see that the writing was creative but still seemed like the original movies.

I liked the one quote that Cate Blanchett said to Harrison Ford "Belief, Dr. Jones, is a gift you have yet to receive. My sympathies." Jones responded by saying "Oh, I believe, sister. That's why I'm down here" This made me think of the Old Testament phrase "Fear of the Lord." It seemed that Jones had a proper fear of this unknown power. When ever people entered into the presences of God they were very fearful which seems much more relevant to the situation. I was just surprised when she said that it was disbelief when I thought it was clear that it was a time to be nervous.

I loved this quote from the movie because it is often time something that I think applies to us today. Jones is trying to warn Spalko to "Be careful, you may get exactly what you wish for" and she responds by saying "I usually do." I feel that this is very true sometimes we want something but its not something that we should be desiring. It made me think of a child who is having a temper tantrum because they want to have a new toy. You don't give into them and you might even have to punish the child for they way they are acting. I personally feel that Jones is right in this quote, we should not have everything we want. I was surprised to hear that quote since we live in a society where we feel as though we should have whatever we want.

Over all I thought that this was a very good and imaginative movie that kept very true to the first three movies. All of the action scenes were just as good as they were in the past movies. Even though some of the scenes were unrealistic, such as the sword fight that took place on the back to two cars or swinging from tree to tree to catch up with the racing cars, it was still very entertaining. I also thought the ending was very appropriate since it was almost like a passing of the torch. Overall I would say that this was a very good addition to the Indiana Jones movies.

4stars - "Great Moive" (Robert K. Dando)

I saw Indiana Jones 4. Here is what you need to do if you want to enjoy the movie:

1. Assume that working with supernatural forces for all these years has made Indy sturdy enough to do things no other 66 year old man could do and not need an ambulance immediately after.
2. Forget you saw any of the other films.

Basically, the special effects were cool and Spielberg's direction was on par. The actors were there for the show. It's the script that sucked. The movie largely rehashed scenes from other Indy movies and the ending ... oh what a travesty. The other movies in the series tended to have lots of humor but they took the main plot arch seriously and had some small nod to realism. I can only describe the ending of Indy 4 as "goofy." It really didn't seem to fit. Maybe it was a case of "where do we go after finding the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Grail?" There was another scene near the beginning that seemed straight out of a Looney Tunes cartoon.

Recently I re-watched Indy 3 in high definition. It is so superior that I would say it's not even in the same league as Indy 4. How could the same guy have written both films? Clearly Lucas has been replaced by some alien hack writer.

Verdict: Give it a watch if you have some time to kill and are really bored. This movie is Iron Man's bitch.

5stars - "GREAT OLD MOVIE" (L. RAMOS)

My brother and I watched this movie when it was aired on television in the sixties. It was a good movie, and we were having a great old time, drinking sodas in our p.j.s while our parents got dressed upstairs for a night out. But when that Banshee came wailing onto the screen, my brother and I simultaneously dropped our soda bottles and let out stereo screams, almost as blood-curdling as the Banshee's wail, as we raced up the stairs to the safety of the lights and our parents. To this day I remember how petrified we were by that image! Of course nowadays, such a reaction seems absurd, but back then, in the feverish dream world of childhood, such relatively low-tech cinematography was the height of REALISTIC TERROR! I have discussed this movie with many people around the same age as me, and they ALL RECALL the AWFUL SIGHT AND SCREECH OF THE BANSHEE!
