I received my EatSmart Bathroom Weight Scale yesterday and immediately tried it out. The accuracy of this thing is amazing. My scale does not present any of the "tap to use" issues that other users have reported. Now, back to the accuracy of this nicely made scale. I stepped on the scale fully clothed and it gave me the exact same weight EVERYTIME. I then took off a piece of clothing and got a slightly different weight measurement. I put that particular piece of clothing back on and got the original measurement. The scale also gave me a different measurement after I took my watch off. It's that sensitive. The scale is very nice looking and the big display with the blue backlight is awesome. I don't do too many reviews but I had to do one for this bad boy. I bought it based on other Amazon reviews and I am glad I did. Get it. You won't be disappointed.

I loved it at first, but as others have pointed out, you can get on the scale and get one weight, get off, and then get a different weight. This morning the variance was ridiculous. Usually, I will weigh a heavy object, then get back on and it will be closer for some odd reason. I keep a log of my daily weight taken at the same time each day. Today it said I had gained 5 pounds in one day, not very likely. So, I weighed something else (heavy shoes), cleared it, then got back on. Voila! I lost 5 pounds! This is with batteries not more than 2 weeks old. So for accurate tracking of weight loss on a daily basis, not so good. Overall though, it is well made and might work if you weigh yourself once a week.

This is a very nice scale. Easy to use and I can read the numbers without my glasses. It's very consistent and I actually weigh a little less than I thought I did, which is a bonus.

The new "step-on" technology of this scale makes it a very affordable and accurate way to measure your body weight. What's even better is the .2 pound increments--meaning if you are on a diet, you'll probably see day-to-day results of 1/5th of a pound rather than waiting a few days to drop half a pound or more before the scale moves. This is a terrific motivator for those of us who get frustrated when the scale doesn't move after a few days of struggling.

It's also very accurate. Step on and off several times and you'll always get the same reading, even if you move it from room to room. Very important. I actually bought this scale because my old one seemed to fluctuate depending on how I stood on it, if a few minutes or seconds went by before re-weighing, or simply on its own with no variation whatsoever.

The sleek glass design is much more appealing than your typical bathroom scale, and fits in any home from modern to classic style. PLEASE do note that previous reviews lamenting the difficulty in activating the scale are now obsolete thanks to EatSmart's new technology. A very wise decision from a company that does something rare these days: They actually LISTEN to their customers.

Unfortunately, I bought it and did not use it until months later, so I lost my chance of returning it. I got sick of having to dry the floor each time I use this mop; in addition, the streaks end up leaving dried prints/spots over the ceramic floor. Overall, the mop is easy to use and does a good job cleaning although it is hard for me to notice any steam coming out unless I take it off the floor. If you are okay with streaks, buy this product; if you are not, save your money!

I wanted to put my two cents in because the other reviews and comments really helped me in choosing a steam mop. I was using a Swiffer Wet Jet but didn't want to leave chemicals on the floors as I have two girls under 6.
I really like this mop. I'm sure you've already read the other positive reviews and my pros for this product are the same: large water reservoir, HOT steam, bottom heavy, leaves behind a shining clean floor. My ultimate test for any floor cleaner is the damp paper towel test-I wet a towel and scrub the floor after I mop and if the towel is still white I know the mop/cleaner worked. This passes the test every time. Sometimes there's lint left behind but that's a broom (or the person using the broom) issue, not a floor cleaner issue. The steam lasts for my entire kitchen/dining combo room. It takes about fifteen minutes or so to get the whole room done, and I usually just use ONE cup of water! Also, I mop probably half as much as I used to because this leaves the floor so clean I don't have to be constantly at it like I was with the Swiffer.
One thing I don't understand...the same thing happened to me...when I used the mop for the first time it leaked all over the tray and the floor, and left wet streaks. I was disappointed. But then the next time, it worked perfectly. Hot steam, clean floors, very dirty floor pad. If this happens to so many people why doesn't the manufacturer at least WARN people about it in the manual? Then at least they can save some returns on the thing.
Another thing...it is pretty heavy and sometimes hard to push. I'm weird, though...I like that 'cause then I can count it as a workout. But that's why I gave this four stars overall. Works great on my floors but has a drawback or two. I'll definitely be using this for as long as it lasts and enjoying my clean, chemical free floors.

I did a lot of research and reading of reviews before I decided to purchase the Eureka Envirosteamer. According to every review I read, it is the best of the steam mops. I set out on a quest to find one locally, but had no luck in my city or several surrounding cities. This is the only flaw I have found; you cannot find this machine in any store and have to order it online.
When it arrived I was excited, but apprehensive that it wouldn't live up to my expectations. There was no need to worry, it met and exceeded every expectation I had. It heats up fast, even faster than the 3 minutes it states in the directions, it is lightweight and moves very easily over the floor, there is little elbow grease required, it cleans simply by gliding lightly over the floor. It is so easy to use that I have been using it every day, rotating what room I use it in.
I did read a review from someone who said kitchen towels work better than the pads that come with it and they were right, a plain kitchen towel does a superior cleaning job to the pads provided. I think this is because the pads they send you are very thick and the steam has a hard time getting through them.
I would recommend this machine to anyone; you won't be disappointed.

Delivery as expected. Hardest part was untaggling the parts and assembly. Made great coffee right off the bat. Having read other reviews about a plastic taste I ran one pot through it with only water and a bit of white vinegar, then another pot with just water. I frankly don't think it made much difference as I could smell no plastic odor in anything, pretty neutral.

Only thing on which I agree with a couple of reviewers, the water is not quite as easy to put into the coffee maker as it might be. I don't like having to move the whole contraption out to insure water doesn't spill and goes only where it's supposed to. I don't like the absence of light for the digital clock. You have to duck your head down and look at it head-on to even see the time, if you need to for any reason. You don't after you set the clock and program it.

The major pluses are the coffee flavor it produces, the lid on the pot which is a bit different and easily removable and firmly secure in use, the adjustable temperature for the hot plate to keep the coffee hot, and the extended time of 4 hours you can program for the automatic shut off. Loss of one star is because of the absence of light on the clock and the water filler. No regrets, I'd replace with another if the need arose. Love it.

well I just received my hoover steamvac and could not wait to use it, I was afraid for only $140.00 I might not get good results, but let me tell you it works great, easy to fill, easy to clean and not to heavy to push around. I am 5 feet tall and weigh about 90 lbs and I had no problems, I cleaned 1 room and didn't even use the full tank of clean water, wow it got out almost all the pet stains, I'm thinking of going over that room again, the carpet was just a little damp when I went back in 30 min later. I am very pleased with this machine!!

We've tried other flea/tick products (more on that later), and came back to Frontline Plus because it's the best we've found. But Amazon's price on this particular size (6-pack, 45-88 lb dog) was so low -- almost 20% less than the website where we usually buy our dog meds -- that I was concerned that maybe this might be counterfeit, since counterfeits are prevalent for Frontline, Frontline Plus, and some other dog & cat topical meds. But it arrived today so I checked it against the EPA's counterfeit fact sheet ([..]), and sure enough it's genuine.

In the past, we've tried saving a few pennies by using BioSpot and (many years ago, before all the reported issues) the Hartz Ultra products. Both were big mistakes. The Hartz product drastically affected our dog's wellbeing; a young Brittany full of pep & energy, she became lethargic and sleepy for a full 36 hours the day after application. The BioSpot product worked ok and had no side effects on her, but it had a pungent orange odor, and didn't absorb quickly - whatever fabric her neck touched (e.g. the sofa cover) for the next 24-48 hours after application was left with a big greasy spot that had to be laundered out. We came back to Frontline Plus and never strayed again. We now have 2 dogs who romp through the woods almost every single day, and neither has ever had fleas or ticks or any other insect-caused problem.

We bought a Kenmore coffee maker at Sears. It recently started displaying a replace filter message. I went to Sears and the moron who works there said they didn't sell filters for coffee makers. I then verified that they sell the coffee maker, the coffee maker uses a filter, it displays a message to replace the filter yet I can't buy the filter to replace it.

She looked at me with the blankest stare I've ever gotten. Obviously she couldn't comprehend the words that were coming out of my mouth. Maybe they do sell these at Sears but I was so pissed they hired this lady I left.

So, I went home, looked online and saw that these filters are the same as the Kenmore ones and so ordered them and sure enough it fits in the little basket (maybe Cuisinart makes Kenmore coffee makers or maybe it's just a standard or good design/thought).

I usually don't write reviews since there are enough of them about any one product, but I was felt obligated to share my poor experience with Frontline Plus. I purchased the product from my vet and made certain that it had not been expired. I have kept the six-pack under the recommended storage conditions and have applied it correctly to two cats twice. The cats did not have many fleas to begin with. The product has not worked on either cat, one 9 lbs., the other 11 lbs. I found live fleas on one of the cats, fat and happy, within three days after the first application. I applied the product for the second time only two weeks later, with the same result. I have brand new carpets and I know it can't be infested.

These are either some Über-Fleas Nietzsche would have been proud of, or most probably, there is something wrong with the product.

I have two cats and got Frontline rather than Advantage this time and I'm sitting here with my kitty in my arms and fleas jumping on my hands. Didn't work a bit. I've just ordered Advantage. After seeing the great job the Furminator did on my friend's dog, I decided to give it a try on my own dog. I had read reviews that warned about the blade cutting the hair but I was so impressed with the results I had seen firsthand, I got one anyway.

I have a Samoyed, a double-coated breed. I started with the Furminator and was disappointed at how little of the undercoat it actually removed. The teeth are not long enough to get through the undercoat and I saw that, along with the little undercoat it was pulling out, there were also long strands from the topcoat in the Furminator. After about 10 minutes I gave up. The Furminator just wasn't effective at getting through her coat and I was concerned about damage to the topcoat. I went back to using my trusty undercoat rake, which is far more effective than the Furminator and doesn't damage the coat.

I have seen good results with this product on other dogs, but do not recommend it for breeds with dense undercoats and silky topcoats.

I bought this brush on Ebay for around $12 including shipping. A friend had recommended it. It is unbelievable! I cannot believe the amount of hair that comes out of my dog. It is almost like I am shaving her, but the comb is not cutting the hair. We have Rottweilers and their hair is medium length, very thick, and soft. It probably wouldn't work as well on any breed. A couple cons.....you can't use on wet hair and you have to use outdoors because it make a huge mess. Nice brush.

I have a golden retriever whose hair seems to be everywhere in the house. I've tried all sorts of brushes and daily routines and still have hair everywhere. And then I finally decided to try the Furminator. I ordered it on Thursday night and was told I should expect it on Wednesday morning as it had to come all the way to India but it arrived on Monday itself. I tried it out. It is amazing! Gobs and gobs of hair came off. My dog actually enjoys the brushing, looks a lot sleeker (I hope he feels the heat less) and better groomed and the fur is a lot softer! I actually got compliments on his grooming when I took him to the vet yesterday. I only wish I had discovered it earlier.

This product is fantastic. As soon as I started using it, the amount of hair that came off my dog was incredible. I have a Australian Kelpie which is a medium sized sheep dog. He has short hair, but sheds like crazy all year round. The brush took off much of the undercoat that is needed keep the amount of shedding to a minimum.

For the money this thing costs, you can't go wrong. It has some really powerful suction, and the brush motor hasn't yet fried itself after 2 years of use (even though I've accidentally wound up some string, cords, etc, in it a couple times). I can't say as much for many other vacuums I've owned.

In a somewhat unrelated matter, isn't "vacuum" a strange word? I can never spell it properly on the first try. Two Us in a row; weird.

This Hoover works pretty good, cleans carpets really well. It kinda blows dust around when it's on the floor cleaning setting though and it's soooooooo loud. But overall, it's not bad. Works much better than my last vacuum.

I love this economical vacuum cleaner!! It has great suction and the bags last quite a while. I have used it now for many cleanings...at least 5-6 and the bag is not yet full. I have a 2 bdrm apartment and two cats....and live in a dusty part of the southwest...and it holds up great! ( It is new..but I am expecting it will last for quite some time) :)
For the price it is a must for small areas (1100 sq feet), dorm rooms..etc. A must for college students who don't have much cash!
