Starting at 4GB, SDHC cards offer larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. I ordered this for my Camera only to find out that it was way too much memory for my camera! I was fortunate however as it fit in my Colby video camera. There isn"t much you can say about a memory card. It was delivered as promised, looked liked they said it would and works in my video camera.

I purchased this case based on the recommendations of other reviewers but I think the case provides too tight of a fit for the Canon S90. I spent time fighting to get the camera out of the case. I would recommend the CaseLogic Medium Camera Case instead. It provides more room and has the attachment to attach to the belt as well. It's just like this one but it wider and deeper and makes it easy to get the camera in and out of the case. The construction is just as good as this one.

Love the case, the design is a lot better than I expected from the photo. It has a very sleek and sexy appearance and surprisingly very well padded. I have a Canon Powershot S90 and this case is perfect for it. The zip outside gives me sufficient space to easily store two spare batteries. The clip is extremely useful as well. it holds on tightly. I did feel however that the tag around which the clip loops around is not very securely stitched so I clipped it to the larger loop on the backside instead. Highly recommended! Its a lot cheaper than buying the Canon case for my camera, and I liked this design way better anyway.

I bought this case to replace my old CaseLogic case because it didn't have a spare pocket to hold small accessories. This case is small and light enough so that I can carry it around all day without noticing it that much, but it is has enough room and padding so that it carries my camera (Panasonic FH20), a spare battery, and a SD card and it protects my camera if I drop it.

I would recommend this case to anyone looking for the perfect travel case for their ultra compact camera.

I just purchased a Canon SD4000 and wanted a good case to secure the camera. I went with Caselogic TBC-302 and I love the fit.
I had many different cases and every time I get frustrated of keeping the camera in the case because it doesn't fit in my pocket.
Usually, I would just keep the case in my bag and the camera in my pocket.

The TBC-302 size fits comfortably in a regular pair of jeans.
Enough room for a spare battery and SD card.

I ordered this case for my new SD1400is Canon Camera last tues. 6-1-10 and it was delivered on friday 6-4-10 six days earlier than it said i would receive it.

I was very impressed from the packaging and the quality of this case. It fits my new camera perfectly. There is still alittle room left in the case that i believe if push came to shove u could put an extra battery or memory card in it if u had to.

I put my belt through the back of the case and on my shorts it went with me all day long shooting pictures at an outdoor event. It was very easy opening and removing the camera & then putting the camera back into the case and closing it with out even having to look to see if i had it closed properly because you could hear the snap of the magnetic clasp closing it properly.

As others have stated i do believe if u arnt careful with putting the camera in the case or taking it out of the case the button on it could scratch the screen of the camera. I keep that in the back of my mind and remember to just becareful when i do it.

All in all, for the money this is a great little case and i wouldn't hesitate to buy this again if i had to.

Great, snug, secure fit. But a word of warning to potential buyers: its impossible to fit anything else into this case along with the sd1300is model- it's really a snug fit. It's easy to take the camera in and out, though, and i personally prefer a safe, close fit so the camera doesn't rattle around inside the bag. This definitely looks like and feels like a high quality camera case and is a great bargain.

I love this. I recently bought an SD 3500IS. I was supposed to buy (and did buy) the 2050 case for it. But I also loved the Canon Leather wrist strap from my former SD400 that I got when I bought my case for it. I purchased this item (for an amazingly low price here) just so I could use the leather strap. I intended to give the case away afterwards. The PSC-55 arrived a couple days before the 2050. For the the price, I was happy to have the nice leather strap that comes with it. I was amazed and delighted to learn that the SD 3500IS does fit. I am using this case, as I don't really care for the 2050 at all. I really felt the need to post this because I have never seen anywhere that this can fit the 3500IS. It is snug, so don't be angry with me. But it is a magnetic enclosure (which I also prefer to the sound of Velcro). The magnetic enclosure is able to close with the camera inside. Looks nice.

I bought this camera about a year ago. The picture has a great quality. The sound is so clear during video recording. I like the smart capture where the camera will adjust to the environment or you can manually adjust for the environment. I definitely love the 10x zoom. I used it at a baseball game and the level of detail is extraordinary. I foster dogs so I post doggie pictures on-line and it's amazing the level of detail you can see on the dogs.

I got the camera stolen last Saturday. I loved it so much that I did not think twice about seeking out the same exact camera to buy again. It's currently en route and it cannot get here fast enough!

I personally quite enjoy this camera. I am photographer as a hobby and take several hundred pictures a month. It serves me well.
Pros
-The 10X zoom is wonderful. I often shoot nature, and it's great to be able to get "close" to whatever you're shooting.
- Many of the controls are physical. Meaning, you don't have to dig through a bunch of menus to set up your shot
-It's size is quite go for what it can do, it's not going to fit in every pocket, but it's still decently small.
- AA batteries are nice instead of s proprietary rechargeable. SD cards are good function too.

Cons
-Contrary to it's name. I don't find it an "easy-share." as it will only import pictures to it's kodak program. I use my old camera so I can import them without the program.
-The flash isn't too great.
-I really want a camera with a manual focus, as it can really be a pain to focus on EXACTLY what I want it to, most times it's ok though.
-the video is kinda noisy at times
-the zoom could be faster. It probably takes 5 seconds to zoom all the way in and focus

In terms of value, this is a great buy. If you're going to only be taking pictures of you and your friends or family, good luck finding a quality camera at this price. If you plan to do some serious photography, or lots of video, consider an upgrade

Although my heart yearns for a professional DSLR camera, my wallet realizes it will be a while before I possess one. I decided to upgrade my old 4 MP camera for this one, and I am really glad I did! The shots I have taken so far are superb! The camera is really easy to use, and pictures are easy to upload (with or WITHOUT the EasyShare software). This is not a slim, skinny camera, but that's just fine with me. I will gladly sacrifice putting a camera in my pocket for photos like these.

I read the reviews on this camera before purchasing. I am always reluctant when reading the negative reviews, but I figured the positive ones outweighed them. I figured $80 was worth a try for a camera of this megapixel size. I also liked some of the features too.

My camera arrived and I used it immediately. I like how light-weight it is. The pictures came out great. Some were blurry, but it may have been the kids moving that made it this way.

We bought this camera as a replacement for an older Canon Powershot the day before going on a trip. ALL the pictures came out blurry...really, really disappointing. I have since taken the same exact photo with this camera and the old one - its like night and day. Everything is either slightly out of focus or blurry - and its not user error! Just not sure how Canon can sell this shoddy quality equipment. Worst experience ever - never buying Canon again.

I returned this camera to Amazon - but here's the review anyway.

Pros:
1) Good point-and-shoot - works alright in most cases.
2) Small, sleek, light and handy. Fits in your pocket.
3) Zoom during recording video (some older models did not have this functionality).
4) Face detection works suprisingly well.

Cons:
1) Overexposure in Auto mode, sometimes.
2) No manual mode. Not even aperture priority or shutter speed priority modes.
3) Flimsy construction of (a) the battery and card slot door and (b) auto-program-video mode switch - I was scared they would come off every time I used it.
4) Static noise during video (an older canon camera I tried did not have this much noise).
5) No manual focus.

Summary:
This seems to be a good point-and-shoot. The overexposure problem can be corrected by exposure compensation in Program mode. I'd want a little more manual control over the settings (eg: shutter speed, f-stop, manual focus), and the Program mode doesn't cut it. However, if you don't need all that, this camera looks like a decent buy.

This camera is great! Easy to use and takes great pictures. Having a cable to upload directly to my computer is a bonus! And no more recharging AA batteries.

After getting my Canon elp sd1000 (great camera btw) i was in desperate need of a camera because I was in europe so of course i needed a new camera! i was on the fence of between a sony or a canon. From the track record I had with my old canon, i picked the canon A3100 IS. It's an amazing camera! I just basically left it on Auto and it helps me macro close up pictures or what not. after reading reviews and more about the camera, i found out there's a "poster" mode that looked pretty cool! i was disappointed that i didn't get to try that mode but i will def. put it to good use! love love this camera! i don't get what the other reviewer was talking about...having their screen being cloudy. i've had my camera for a month already and it's been fine. along with me dropping it. i love canon...so durable!

Have had Canon products in the past and they were great but NOT this model. After ordering the first one the viewing screen became cloudy after 2 weeks. Returned to Amazon and got another. Within 1 week the screen went completely blank. Again Amazon refunded my purchase price. This camera is obviously not up to Canon's usual standards. Buy something else. I finally ended up with a Nikon Coolpix and it is a wonderful camera.

I've had this camera for two weeks, and I'm almost completely satisfied.
Good:
Easy to use for basic point-and-shoot pictures and zooming
Quick to turn on
Picture quality is good

Not so good:
Several of our outdoor zoomed pictures had a noticable streak/lens flare if the camera was pointed in the same general direction as the sun.
As with most digital cameras, the instructions are skimpy and the features are indicated by cryptic little icons.
The screen seems fragile, although nothing has damaged it yet. Maybe not a problem.

Overall, not perfect, but quite worth the price.

The irony in the camera's world is the cheaper the camera, the better the picture quality. This is true at least in my case. For years I've owned the following cameras in the order of their prices:
Canon A490 ($95) (5 stars)
Canon Xsi ($612) (5 stars)
Canon T2i ($849) (4 stars)
Nikon D70 ($1,000) (4 stars)
Canon 50D ($1,110) (3 stars)

Unfortunately, the order of the picture quality is just the opposite---Canon A490 being the best (5-star) and Canon 50D being the worst.

You can never complain anything about A490. Too bad I can't post here stunningly beautiful pictures taken with my A490 that I recently purchased from Amazon.

I have a couple of digital cameras but my 78 yr old husband needed a camera with a viewfinder that was easy to operate and would generate clear pictures despite his hands being unsteady most of the time. This camera does it all! This camera is almost perfect in every way ! The only feature that we both are a bit disappointed in is the on/off button is small and level with the camera body,so it a bit hard to use. We would have preferred if the button has been raised a bit or even had a left to right on/off instead of an up/down button.I realize the goal was to keep the camera's body small so button size was compromised to have room for everything.
We have never been so impressed with a camera's ease of operation while giving you so many shooting options. I printed the full manual from the Canon USA website (136 pages) and gave it to my husband to read and learn before his 60th high school reunion in late Aug. He pretty well has mastered the camera overnight. The pictures are so clear, the color balanced and we have absolutely nothing to complain about regarding picture quality.
Clearly we are not advance photographers so don't expect an in depth technical review. This is just a great point and shoot camera and it's no wonder it gets such high marks on all camera web sites. Everyone loves this camera because it's so easy to operate and produces great pictures. We love it too !!

How disappointing! I currently own a Canon Powershot sd800is and I love it. Perfect pics & videos, excellent battery life, durable, no issues whatsoever. When my daughter saved her money up for a digital camera I really didn't look much farther than Canon because I wanted her to have a great camera. Since the sd800is is no longer available we picked the updated version, the sd1200is, which has more mega-pixels and zoom than my old one.

When it arrived, we charged the battery and began taking indoor pictures. They were very blurry and they had a yellowish-orange glow. (We even had one that showed a blue & green orb floating by my staircase. STRANGE!) I tried adjusting the settings to fix the issues, but nothing worked. I'm not a camera expert, but I understand what most of the features and menu itmes do. I have used them on my sd800is with much success. I had my husband and his brother (both are smart techy guys) work with the camera. Still, we could not get it to take clear pictures. When I tried to take pics outside they came out virtually white, completely overexposed. My daughter tried taking some pics and did have success, but only if she took them in pitch darkness with the flash on. They were clear and sharp with good color. They looked like they had been taken with my old camera. But, how practical is a camera that only works in the dark???

I called Canon support and they took me through the same steps I had already tried, finally suggesting that I ship it in for service. They were very friendly, helpful, and professional, but they couldn't replace the product, only service mine and return it to me in about 3 weeks.

After considering my 30 day return window with Amazon, I decided by the time I would get it back from Canon, if I wasn't satisfied, I wouldn't be able to return it. So I declined the Canon service and simply returned it to Amazon, which was also a very simple and painless process.

We ended up spending less than half as much on a Polaroid t1031. It doesn't have all the cool features the Canon has (no video either), but it does have image stabilization, a rechargeable battery, and the greatest part... it takes good pictures! And she has some money left in her pocket so that's a good thing as well.

I won't say, "Don't buy a Canon" because I love my old one and the features and customer service are great. I will say, "Don't be afraid to return it." Most of the reviews are great, but sometimes you get a lemon like I did. I chose not to make lemonade, I sent it back and got some pretty delicious orange soda. YUM!!!

As I look at some of the other reviews I am wondering a few things: 1. Are these folks reviewing the same camera? 2. Did they get a broken/faulty one? 3. Did someone in their family drop it w/o their knowing? 4. Did they sniff a considerable amount of glue before operating it?

I'm not trying to be a jerk but this camera kicks! I have had other Canon cameras, there are a few I looked at that I absolutely did not like and would not buy. But this one is the least expensive ELPH with the latest D4 processor, as usual it has WAY too many functions. Last week at the zoo I mastered the rapid fire photo mode, anyone with a 4 y/o will appreciate that mode and it works great to catch memories-in-motion. I caught expressions that I normally miss. You will need a large data card but I deleted the unwanted extra frames when reviewing on my pc. Movie clip mode is even better than my other two Canons A500 series and A80, [four and eight years old].

It does have more settings and noticed the full auto function tends to over flash a bit indoors causing some wash-out, but like any product you have to get to know your camera! We tend to expect gizmos to do all of the thinking for us, that is an unrealistic expectation. I told my wife try full auto flash and try it w/o for best results in different conditions. I have noticed that eventhough cameras now have a huge screen to instantly check your picture folks don't...they shoot away without giving it a second thought. Then they get home and are pissed when the pic's suck, well it's not always the cameras fault. A lot of times I have caught my wife taking pic's with the camera in the wrong shoot mode...Oops! maybe one day cameras will talk, "hey dummy! I'm in the wrong mode." But until then learn your camera and experiment with it!!! We have lost our share of one-time memories to pilot-error.

It's a shame to give only one star to a very nice product, but to me, this very nice camera is useless. I need two batteries...always need a spare so that while I'm out, when the battery dies, I can continue shooting pictures. Sadly, Panasonic has crippled their cameras against use of any non-Panasonic battery, and THEY DO NOT SELL A BATTERY FOR THIS CAMERA (as of 7/28/10).

So, this very fine camera must go back to the store and gets a one-star rating from me. Very, very sad.

If you're interested in this camera and don't need a spare battery, buy it! If by now (whenever you are reading this review) Panasonic has a battery available, consider this a four-star review!

I recently purchased this camera a few weeks ago and so far I love it. The quality of the pictures is far better than any other camera on the market. If you an amateur photographer who loves to get out and take pictures, without having to lug a huge around camera around then is the perfect one for you. The only drawback to this camera is that you cannot zoom in and out while you're taking video, but other than that this is a great camera for the price. I highly recommend it!

I just bought this camera a few days ago to serve as a back-up camera for me while I send my Canon SD870IS out for service as well as be something my daughter can use as she gets more involved in taking her own photos. So far, this seems to be a pretty good camera and many of the features I was already used to using on my other Canon are there, but some are not as easy to locate as they are on the SD870. That's where reading the detailed 148-page users manual will come in handy. Unfortunately, despite reading quite a few positive reviews about the camera before purchasing it, I never noticed anyone mention the fact that Canon is no longer providing the PRINTED copy of the 148-page users manual in the box. It's great that it is provided on a CD and is easily loaded to your computer, particularly when you have misplaced the printed copy and need to look something up, but that's not very convenient for when you are a new owner and are trying to learn to use the camera or don't have access to your computer and need to find out how to do something. I definitely want to have a printed copy of the manual, so I now have to decide if I am going to print it myself or buy a copy of the manual from someone online who sells camera manuals. This is an unexpected expense and unexpected delay in getting up to speed on taking advantage of the capabilities of the camera. It's only been 2 1/2 years since I bought my last Canon camera--and it came with a printed manual--so I was not aware of this obvious cost-cutting step that Canon has taken with it products. I'm still glad that I have the camera, but I don't appreciate having to get my own copy of the printed manual. I would have preferred to pay a bit more for the camera in order to have the manual there in the box. FYI...If you lose the Canon CD that your manual is on and no longer have it on your computer, you can download the manual from the Canon web site and can read it online just fine, but if you have to print it out from a download you get from the Canon web site it will print with the word 'COPY' in a medium-gray color across each page. You can, however read through the medium-gray 'COPY'.

Im not going to review the merits of this point and shoot camera. Other reviews pretty much echo the pros and cons. We find it a great portable point and shoot camera. The "wide angle" aspect really makes pictures look like they are encompassing more area compared to my previous cameras.
