My daughter loves this game. However, there are pieces which are blacked off that can not be used. So there would be a large selection of wedding dresses, tiara's, jewerly, cake tops, etc. however you can not use them all and are limited. Also, you can choose your bride, but only one girl ever comes out as the bride no matter who you choose.

The whole concept of the game is great, but for some reason you can not use this game to its full capacity which is very disappointing. My daughter who is 8 gets frustrated because she wants to use the other options but you can not. We checked to see if there is an update or some way to get the shaded options, but we have not found it.

I'm picked up this game for the fun of it. What I found was a 2d game with very simply drawn graphics which is still alot of fun to play. There are alot of games that you have to finish to get better bride's items. I still play it because it is fun to choose wedding stuff, and who doesn't like choosing wedding stuff?

I love this game! It is fun, time-lasting, enjoyable, and certainly fun! You can do anything you want to (to) make your dream wedding. Pick music, pick groom, and decorate your cake! I 100% think you should buy this product. (This is a kid's eye review)

5stars - "Fabulous"

I found this game at Target and the graphics looked good and the overall plot amusing so i bought it. The mini games are well worth the money-some actually took me a fair amount of time to complete. This is an ideal game for girls from ages 6-11. Bt i'm an older teen and i still enjoyed it! The only complaint i have with this game is that it took me very little time to complete the game( but you can always go back and change some of the aspects of your wedding or start over).

This is a fun and engaging program with an amazing amount of activities and mini-games that are all wedding related. Most of the stuff you have to do for a real wedding is here, but of course, a lot more fun. I'll try to explain.

You begin by choosing a bride, brides maids, and a venue for the wedding, then you play this hilarious elimination game to choose a groom, and then choose his grooms men. If you want to skip this part you can have your mother choose all this for you. You then find yourself in the mall, where you can design your dress, choose your shoes, your jewelry, design your ring, design the brides maid dresses, choose formalwear for the men, get your hair done, choose your make-up, choose your music, design your cake and your bouquet, and even make a poem to read at the ceremony. You win more choices for these activities by playing six mini-games in the mall. Most of these are quite fun, my favorite being the dice game, which is a shower game where you exchange gifts. Each game has three levels, giving you more design choices each time you win. Once all these things are done, you can decorate the scene of the wedding and get married. On every screen throughout the entire game is a camera for taking photos for the wedding album which you also get to design and decorate.

The interface is fairly straight-forward and easy to use, no instructions needed. Although the graphics are 2D, they are nicely done with lots pretty colors. The repetive narration can get annoying but it is minimal and the music is awesome. There are tons of things to do and the replay value is high. Another nice feature is that you can completely install this to your hard drive and run it without the cd.

Overall, this is a fun and creative activity program that would be a big hit with girls ages 6-12. But hey, I'm a grown-up and I love it.

I gave this to my Aunt for Christmas, she is an avid cross-stitcher and a (sometimes) PC user, so I figured that this would be the perfect hybrid for her. For anyone on your christmas list that fits this criteria, I highly suggest this as present this year.

I have only printed out one photo to cross stitch, and I have no idea where that print-out is at this time.

But the program worked as promised and someday when I am old and gray (oh, wait, that won't work - I am alread there!) I will begin with a simple photo that won't take me forever and a day to start and finish.

This CD rom even comes with TUTORIALS! I still can't get past them to get to the real designs I want to make. The directions are written for people who need a degree in computer engineering. I have a decent knowledge of computers, Access, Excel, Word, etc. I thought it would be relatively easy once I got the "hang of it." I can't find a "back" or "erase" button like on Word, to delete or erase the most recent action, so I end up having to start over again. And again. And again. I was so excited to use this because I'm so sick of going to craft stores and seeing nothing but ugly cross-stitch kits for flower bouquets, kitchen decor or farm animals. This CD is a waste of time and money. Don't bother.

I only do cross-stitch patterns so I can't speak to how effective this software program is for embroidery or bargello work although it does have regular, half and back stitches, French knots plus a bunch of custom stitches (smyrna cross, trellis, eyelet, chessboard, stars, etc).You start with a basic template where you select a "canvas" by size (in inches or in stitches), specify the number of thread strands and choose a cloth color. This creates a blank, grid-type canvas where you apply your choice of stitches. The program starts with a standard palette to which you subtract or add colors and one of the best features of the program is the fact that it lists hundreds of floss colors by name and number. Included are DMC (six strand floss, rayon and metallic), Anchor, JP Coates, Kreinik varieties, Maderia classic and a number of Mill Hill beads. I have no idea how up-to-date the thread collections are, however; the DMC section doesn't list the variegated threads plus the Mill Hill bead sections don't seem nearly large enough to encompass all their beads. Something the manufacturer might want to think of adding is a feature that would correlate DMC colors with Anchor colors so if you are publishing your design you can list both sets of colors.The color palette offers you a choice of colors by number or by color range. You select the color you want, add it to your palette and assign it a symbol (there are 200 available). Removing colors is very easy plus you have the option of replacing colors (eg turn all stitches done in "carnation lt" to "forest green md"). Other handy features: spray (to color in a whole section); horizontal and vertical mirrors; center; and erase. You can zoom in to see sections of the design close up and you can remove the grid entirely. There are also options to show the design in black and white, in color and in color with symbols. Another nice feature is that you can switch to text mode using any TrueType font.The program gives you a large number of "cutesy" designs and borders in a special library so you can cut and paste them on your designs. You can also import your own pictures and photographs directly to the library. A word of warning -- copying jpgs doesn't work very well, especially with anything over 40x40 square, as jpgs tend to blur pixels so you don't get a clear, sharp image.Problems: I have read their instructions and tried everything I can think of but I can't get the program to copy part of a design and then move it to another part of the canvas. If you select "copy" the program picks up the section you choose and leaves a blank space behind. You can get around this by deleting the section and then pasting the original back on the canvas after which you paste more sections (one at a time) to the canvas, but this is time-consuming and clunky. I have several times added the same color to the palette by mistake. This is a real pain to correct as you can't simply replace the second one with the first or combine them. The program really should tell you if the color you have selected is already in the palette. Also, if I have been working on designs for two-three hours, the program very occasionally turns itself off. On using the program again you do get a message saying there is a design that hasn't been saved so, theoretically, you can retrieve your work that way.If you work on a design and later decide to import a palette you have used in another design, you will get one of the more cryptic error messages I have ever seen: "You cannot load a new palette unless there are no stitches set." Why you can't add colors this way seems strange to me, it would certainly be a handy feature. I don't what other stitching programs are out there so I can't compare this one to them. I do like it and it's a lot of fun to play with despite the fact that it is a bit clumsy to use ("undo" as a icon on the toolbar would be nice). I have made seven original designs I like very much and plan to make more. One more thing: you can choose a regular time (month/six months/year) for the software to contact M&R for updates. I assume this means you can download corrections or new features as they become available.

I read all of the reviews for this product before I purchased it to make political T-Shirts for this year's presidential election. I read and ignored the person who said that they couldn't get the software to work. I am moderately computer savvy, and figured that I could resolve any issues that may come up with installing the software. (How hard could it be?)
I was soon to find out how hard it would be.
The first of two installation disks didn't work at all. I got four error messages. Each time I resolved the error issue, I got a new one. The final error message said that I needed a new disk.
I contacted the company, and they sent me a new disk...Months later (on election day, as a matter of fact).
Undaunted, I attempted to install the software. The first disk works fine. The second installation disk, however, is now giving me more error messages, ones that don't even have solutions on the developer's website.
I am frustrated and have just requested that they refund my money.
I wouldn't wish this level of frustration and waste of time on anyone.
Don't buy this product.
Try something else.

The only thing I would add is that the user interface is a bit old fashioned to me compared to native apps on my Vista pc. It wouldn't stop me from buying this again, however.

This software is easy to load and easy to use. It works well with Microsoft word and its clip art can be used with the T-Shirt Factory. If you can print it on paper, you can print it on a tee shirt! The "key" of course is that it allows you to print a mirror image onto the transfer paper and then just iron it on. It would be nice if they are more graphic art available that one could download for a reasonable price. I did find the graphics in the kit a little limited.

I got this game when I six and I still enjoy playing it even though I'm now eight. I totally LOVE this game and so does my 10 year old cousin. You can choose the background to be an award show to a romantic dream date. there are 3 girls to choose from. The nail polish studio has different unique colors and patterns.The nail studio even has different manicures! At the makeup place, you can put eyeshadow on, brush blush onto her cheeks, and put lipstick on her lips. Then at the hair Salon, you can choose from great hairstyles, color of hair, and hair decorations. Next is the fancy dresses , then casual clothing. Then jewelery. Finally, you get to see a video . It's a great game if you like dress up and makeovers.

My computer meets all of the requirements for this game and then some. But it won't work! My dad installed it for me and it said it installed correctly. Then, when I go to play it, it crashes on me. So I tried again, and again it crashed. my dad uninstalled it and tried again. As I tried to play it froze my computer up and then crashed. It just goes to show you that even if you have a good computer, cheap software still doesn't work.

I bought this for my son when he received his first iPod Nano. He had a lot of fun designing skins for his iPod. It really allowed him to personalize it with more than your average store bought cover. The software was easy to install and very user friendly. The only complaint I had was the trouble of finding additional labels for purchase separately. I eventually found some so that my daughter could take advantage of the program also. I would recommend this to anyone with the original iPod Nano, because it'll give you a chance to update the look without spending the money on a new one.

This product is, at best, just o.k. the hairstyles were average. Some reminded me of the 80's. the good thing though, was that your could vary the hair color alot so at leat you could get an idea of what you might like. There are about 3 cds that have to be installed. Also, the makeup cd is a WASTE OF TIME. It offers drawn lips that you paste on your face! I dont know about the people that made this program but, i think its awful. If your thinking of buying this product I suggest you think twice.

My sister and I live in England so we had this sent by airmail. Although we were disappointed at how much this cost. We were impressed at how quickly it arrived and how well packaged it was. It was quick to install but hard to get up one of the preinstalled models, and also getting the makeup to load didn't seem to work at first. But when we got it working it was really good, it gave realistic results and looked like the model was really wearing the makeup we put on her (you can also use male models). Although the makeup is good the hairstyles sometimes look a bit fake. We are a bit unsure though, because on the website it claims you can make a virtual 3d model of yourself, by typing in your measurments. Although we are sure this is possible, we still haven't worked out how to do this. It is great fun putting wild makup and wacky hairstyles on one of the preinstalled models, but we thought it would be much more enjoyable if we did it on one of our photographs; as this is the main idea. It was simple to load the photo we wanted, but when we tried to put the makeup and accesories on they wouldn't load. We were amazed at how many hairstyles, makeup, colours, etc. there were. Overall we do think this is the best virtual makeover software around, as we do own others. If you are interested in fashion and makeup then this is for you. And we are pretty sure the few problems we are experiencing are temporary or because of our computer.

I bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter. She had one before, but we couldn't find it. She absolutely loves it, loves it, loves it.
