I love the program. It makes photoshop almost unnecessary for a lot of my photos and it's very fast because you don't have to keep opening and saving. It's easy to copy settings from one photo to another. HOWEVER, I cannot get any minor problems addressed by the company. I waited 10 days for them to respond to an email about an installation issue, and they only responded because I threatened to start writing reviews. I am now waiting 4 days for a followup. I can't get into their forums because they won't recognize me as a customer so I can't get advice that way. I also find the interface confusing but I'm hoping they fix that in version 5. In the meantime, unless you're confident you can figure anything out on your own, BEWARE.

I use Nikon Capture NX to 1.34 AUTOMATICALLY remove chromatic abberation from from the raw Nikon .nef files. They are saved as 16 bit TIF files.
However Bibble Pro 4 cannot read TIF files, but ironically it can save as TIF files.
I'm still buying this program shortly as Bibble 5 is expected to be able to read 16 bit TIF files, and will be a free upgrade. Bibble 5 will cost more too.
I love its AUTOMATED Perfectly Clear feature and its tight integration to Noise Ninja - all run in batch mode. This work flow produces the best picture quality with the least fuss.

4stars - "Gret Product But Needs An Update To Accept TIF Files As Input" (NoDataMiningAllowed)

I purchased Bibble Pro in hopes it would make taking product shots for our mail order business a little easier. I was mainly interested in the tethering option. I found the provided instruction manual lacks all information on tethering and the tutorials, although helpful did not cover this ether.
With the help of online fourms and a few hours of dabbling I was able to get it to work. It's not hard to do once you get the needed help. It seems to me the manual should have addressed tethering, that would have been helpful.

Over all I like the program and would recommend it for easy to use and powerful batch processing. After getting Bibble I started shooting in RAW full time because it's easy to view, correct, and convert to jpg, tiff , ect...
After a couple of product shot sessions I'm finding I do save time with Bibble Pro tethered to my Nikon D80, I wouldn't give it up. The basic tools are easy to use and work well.

The bulk of my projects as a freelance graphic designer is designing books for national publication. This collection is a treasure trove of images -- I can always find just the right graphic for my bookblock layouts. All 5 discs operate perfectly and I really love the 1800+ page image library catalog. It's very well indexed so I don't have to spend a lot of time browsing through the discs to find what I'm looking for. It has already paid for itself many times over, both in time and cost.

This is horribly misleading. Not only did 3 of the DVDs not load (just spun and spun), but the two that did gave me a glimpse of the "art" they claim to be so great and high quality. The clip art is amateurish, the background images are ... ugh, they're just gross. And the photography is a complete joke. It's all circa 1970s and 80s, the quality is very poor. They appear to be scanned in and have the quality of a shaky grandmother's album. And high quality? Ha! The images not only are lo-res (180 dpi), but they are also small in size (4x5")! This is a complete and utter joke. Don't bother.

As a graphic designer, I'm always looking for tools like this. When I bought this for our shop, we were planning on using the icons for quick placement in our statement designs. We also looked forward to using the fonts and other clip art eps features for various quicky projects. Unfortunately, the interface is difficult to use, and loading the CDs is tedious.

The stock photos are worthless. I have yet to use one of their 1970s photos for anything other than a good laugh.

The font database has nothing usable.

Overall, this was a waste of $100. Our shop has used it probably half a dozen times, and I don't imagine we'll use it much from here forward.

My daughter works as a computer graphic's artist as her profession. Because of this I found out she wanted the Art Explosion 750,000 For MAC as an adjunct for her job. So I ordered one as a birthday gift.

Since we don't live near to one another I had it shipped as a birthday gift to her home.

Only weeks later did I find out that part of the delivery came through damaged, and she was then dealing to have the problem rectified!

I asked if she wanted me as purchaser to follow up, but she told me she would deal with it.

I'm sure she will eventually get satisfaction either from Amazon or whomever is eventually responsible.

Sure Art Explosion has nifty stock images that can help in a pinch with small graphic solutions, but what to do with 48 CDs that come shrink-wrapped on a spindle with no lid? In the past the CDs would come supplied with a carrying case. So don't expect one to come with this collection or to get a response from Nova even though they advertise a money back guarantee.

This game was very fun. First, you chose a model(girl or guy w/ atleast 15 who were very different). Then you chose eyes(liner, shadow, contacts color), lips (liner and color), concealor, hair(hundreds of styles), earings, jewlery, hats, tattoes, and background. Also, you could customize the thickness, depth, and color. You could blend too, and this makeover looks VERY realistic, like a photograph. The only thing is that now that I have a new computer, the game isn't working. I'm not sure why, I think it's just because it's old softwear. But if it does work, you're in for loads of fun!

I recently recieved this in the mail from Amazon.com. Not only was the package torn up (I know it was sent from another company and not Amazon, so I don't blame them entirely) but the software wouldn't work on my computer! I tried to install it over and over but apparently the software isn't suitable for some components of Windows XP. I am really disappointed, especially since I was so excited to try this.

This program rocks. Don't let other people fool you by sayingit doesn't look real when you do a makeover. It looks totally real and if you want to find out what you look like as a blond, buy this game! Also this game has many choices of hairstyles and accecories. And if you buy this game, you get free downloads and updates for it... Oh and just one thing! The picture of you you put into the ym makeover, DON'T have it be a polaroid pic, it makes it blurry. Just use a regular camera or a one-time used one. Oh and if you want to have a really big laugh, put in photos of celebs!

Product Information * Developed by: ProVenture * Published by: Avanquest * UPC: 018059051249 * Serial/SKU/Model: 5124 System Requirements: * Windows 98/ME/2000/XP * Pentium III or higher * 95 MB disk space * 128 MB RAM * CD-ROM Drive * Inkjet or laser printer I bought this product because I wanted to have a 32-bit replacement for the label making component of the old 16-bit Print Shop Deluxe that I've been using (it came out in 1994 and was designed for Windows 3.1!!!). I saw this on the shelf at MicroCenter, and although I don't buy boxed software anymore (at least not without downloading a trial first), I couldn't resist the ten dollar price tag, so I bought it. This review will actually be a quick list of notes I wrote up as I was testing out the program. Some are criticisms, and others are notes on using the program. These are somewhat organized in the order in which you'd come across these issues when installing and running the program, though the information on the registration nag is at the end so it is easier to read. -- Run setup.exe to directly install the program without having to go through the trial screen interface (trial copies of other programs are available on the CD). You still will be nagged to install a payment service (to accept credit card payments for your business) and the NewsFlash program (used to send you company updates). You can easily say NO to both. It would be nice to not have ANY kind of nags like this. -- The program doesn't copy the clipart folder from the CD to the hard drive, even though it makes an empty Clipart directory in the program directory. -- Some program settings are found in mylabels32.ini in the C:\Windows (or C:\WinNT) directory. This file is not deleted if you uninstall the program. -- The program saves _FOUR FILES_ for every saved label (the files have the extensions .lbl, .bcf, .fsif, .msif). Even if you just have a label with one piece of data on it, and nothing in the databases, it still saves it as four files. For a simple label with just a name and address on it (no database entries), the combined size of the four files is 35 Kb. Other label making programs save only one file, with a size between 1 and 6 Kb. This is the primarily deal-breaker for me. This is the reason why I'm no longer keeping the program. If I make 10 labels, I will have 40 FILES(!) to deal with. That's just not right. Unfortunately, MicroCenter won't take the item back because they don't take back opened software (as is the usual policy for most stores). I can't take advantage of the publisher's 30-Day Money Back Guarantee because I didn't get a chance to install the software until a bit more than 30 days after I bought it. Granted, ten dollars isn't a big loss, but it's still a loss. -- To print an entire sheet of labels containing the same data on each label (just a single name and address - hard-coded to the design, not from a database), you must set the number of copies on the Print dialog box to the number of labels on the sheet (30 for the Avery 5160/8160/8660/6460 layout). This is not very intuitive, as the Copies field normally selects the number of PAGES to be printed (as it is standard in all Print dialogs for ALL Windows programs). This is the other deal-breaker, especially since the number of "copies" resets to 1 every time you run the program (as that is what Windows normally does in the Print dialog window of ANY program). So every time I open and print one of my labels (as I tend to create labels with singular data, not from databases), I have to remember to change the number of "copies" to 30. The program won't even save that information to any of the four files that it creates for each label. -- If there are multiple records in your database, and you just want to print one, select the record you want to print by entering the same record number in both From and To fields in the Print Range. -- How to remove the registration nag without registering (which is free but shouldn't be necessary): Amazon wouldn't let me include the text in my review that you'd need to copy and paste into Notepad, so you'll have to go to this product's forum (near the bottom of the product's main page) and read the instructions that I posted there. Look for the topic entitled "ProVenture Label Maker Registration Nag" and you'll get all the information you need. I wish I could have included that information in my review, and I really tried, but Amazon blocked all of my efforts. I use Bibble Lite as well as ACR in PSE6 as RAW converters.

Bibble is far faster and uses less resources than ACR. On top of that, batch processing was easy to figure out with Bibble.

Hard to beat this for the money and Bibble's customer support simply eats Adobe's lunch.

I jumped on Amorphium the second it hit the market, now that Play has sold off everything to Electric Image, I'm rethinking that strategy.First off, let me say, Amorphium is an EXCELLENT tool for editing models, as well as for creating new models. It's a MUST HAVE for Bryce users. Since I am a Bryce fanatic (been devoted since the buggy version 2.0), I would have to say it's a must have for Bryce.Sadly, Electric Image has jacked up the price where it's getting out of reach of the casual user. However, you can probably pick up Amorphium (1.0) at a decent price. GET IT! It's easy to use, has some decent modeling options, but excels at deforming existing models. Add some slight bumps & dents and you've got a more realistic looking model to import into Bryce.My biggest disappointment was in the marketing hype of Amorphium. The feature list made it sound as if Amorphium supports the ability to paint directly on the model & then export the image. I thought I was getting a bargain, a model editor/creator AND something similar to MetaCreations Detailer (which surprisingly seems to have disappeared). WRONG! You do NOT get this with Amorphium, Amorphium Pro (ala Electric Image) promises this feature, but after being mislead once I am very reluctant to let it happen again.Amorphium hit the streets from Play at [price], if you can find it for...less, grab it... Amorphium Pro (2.0/Electric Image) lists for about [price], and it may be worth it if it does incorporate the ability to create image maps too. Amorphium is more than decent, so if you can pick it up cheap go for it. Just don't expect any support from Electric Image, they are only acknowledging the existence of 2.0 (Pro)!!!

4stars - "Something Bryce users will want in their "Bag of Tricks""

Amorphium was the first graphics engine I bought. Back then, before I sank deeper into the graphic arts, I thought it was the best thing I had ever aquired. Unfortunately, this proved to be false. After many days using Amorphium I decided to go out and buy another 3D modeling program. The name of it was Bryce 3D 4. Bryce opened up whole new worlds to me: Render options, size options, and even a huge variety of texture and material options! But I'm not here to tell you about Bryce; I'm here to tell you why I did not give this a good review.First, the fact that you could not anti-alias(the removal of sharp, or jagged edges produced by low resolution) and could not pick your render options was a huge setback. Second, the real time processor is just too weak. Instead of allowing the user to create complex 3D models, Amorphium has opted for simplicity. This means you cannot effectively create fog, transparent objects, or any other complex model. Why? To help the biggining user. Third, the lack of a real texture editor and material editor. Here are the three options that Amorphium gives its user: Diffuse, Ambience and Opacity. This is just too little; I've seen more texture effects on Adobe PhotoDeluxe!I could go on and on about the imperfections of this program. However, to save the reader time, I will give you the scoop: Buy this if your a biggining user looking to create simple graphics on the web. If you don't fill this catagory than save your money for any of the quality products from Corel, Flash, and Direct 3D/Game Designer type programs. Do not waste your money on this weak of a program. Period.

Imagine a lump of modeling clay that is infinitely pushable, pullable and paintable. Then add the ability to twist or bulge, or add waves or spikes in a statisfyingly symmetrical way to the whole shape with one mouse drag. Amorphium throws away the wire frames and gives you real time smooth 3D rendering as you shape and color. This modestly priced package is both intuitive and fun for kids and sophisticated enough for professionals to create compelling organic images. The interface lets you play and discover without reading one word of the guide, but there are a few interesting features that the guide can point you to.What many other graphics packages let you do with painting, Amorphium lets you do with shaping. You can select different shaped objects to poke with (shaping brushes) and select the size and pressure. You can choose to poke or pull from behind to mirror what you do in front, and then rotate object in space and see what you created from any angle. You can even use a mask with shaping operations. Shaping tools will not affect masked out areas but mask edges are still nice and smooth. Best of all, as you press, your tool goes towards the center of the object in the 3d space so you can continue to refine surfaces in any plane.Users of Bryce will recognize the interface style. With most of the tools (other than brushes), you click and drag on the tool icon itself and watch the main image as it changes in real time. For some tools a percentage number will appear unobtrusively if you want to note numeric values for future reference. My only quibble with this style is that the interface palettes of icons are rather dark. I feel like I am indulging my computer graphics addiction in a closet.The features include applying images from other files to your object for shape or color, morphing from one shape to another, and animating your object to create movies.The really fast and fun tools are called "distorts", which are like Photoshop filters (but much faster). You click and drag on the "distort" name and watch the shape twist or grow spikes or waves in response to the direction and length of the mouse drag. Applying one "distort" after another gives truly infinite and beautiful variety of form.

My company recently upgraded to Acrobat 8 from Acrobat 6. Maybe there are some new tools that I don't need to use yet. But in general, I'm unhappy with this upgrade. The OCR takes longer. When extracting pages, I get a strange "in use" error seemingly randomly. Then half the pages disappear into the ether and half stay on the PDF I'm extracting from. The new PDF is not created. Be very careful to check before you save anything you do! Guess I'll just have to slow down and be less efficient thanks to this "upgrade."

I ordered Proventure Greeting Cards, and I am pretty satisfied with them. There are alot of different card and letter designs to choose from. Also, you get some free new cliparts for your computer. I gave this product 4 stars, beacuse I was expecting a few more borders and designs, but there was a good number of them. There was enough variety of the cards to use for different, personalized cards, though.
