I agree with previous reviews stating that you can make this as easy or as hard as you want. I am just starting week 2 and things are really beginning to happen. Sure, I flopped around on the ground like a fish when doing the Ab RipperX and Yoga as I'm not strong enough yet for most of the moves; However, I keep on trying and my body is feeling it. My muscles are sore but I can do a couple more reps every time I complete a session. From past experience with weight training, I know that if I keep on pushing play and giving it a whole hearted effort, I will get the results that others have successfully gotten.

Don't expect miracles overnight. You have to put in the work to get the results. Don't blame the product if you don't get results when you skip a couple of sessions every week or eat whatever you want. This truly is not a beginners work out.

I am a very active person (basketball, weight training, cross country running, hiking, etc...) and even with all of that, my workouts have become stale and I have hit a rut. So I decided to buy P90X to try something different - I would almost just recommend it for the Yoga DVD lol... I hate yoga, but tried the yoga dvd as it is the 4th video of the set, and it kicked my azz! I am 6'7 - 250lbs, I am following the program as closely to a - T - as I can and I have already lost 8 lbs. in the first week. Keep in mind, I have bought into this 100%, meaning, I bought the pull-up bar for the house, 5 - 60lbs. dumbbell set, bands, yoga mat, etc... (keep in mind, I bought all these products from amazon.com and not Tony Horton's website) I would say that the weight training part of P90X can be done by your average Joe or Jane, it's not till the pull-ups, plyometrics, yoga, etc.. that the challenging parts come in.

This is a great program, but regardless of who you are, you have to work your way up to what the videos are doing. Some will have to work longer than others, but anyone can really do this.

The nutrition guide is basic, but it's enabled me to lose 8lbs. in my first week. Yes, for those of you who are in the, "KNOW," that is exactly what's supposed to happen when you stop eating junk, but the guide tells you what to eat and how much, so you don't have to think about it, and that alone is worth it.

My plan is to use this program for 3 months, take a break, go back to the gym for 3 months, then come back to it for 3 months, and then the gym for 3 months. This way you can do exactly what Tony preaches, constant muscle confusion and routine change.

I could not get this product to work. It never measured my steps or my distance correctly no matter how it was programed. I bought this product because it was recommended by Better Homes and Gardens but I was very disappointed. If I had kept the original packaging I would have returned it.

Got this pedometer for my wife. She loves it. She likes that it will store data for the last 7 days. So when she updates her walking journal @ America on the Move she can log in once for the entire week. But the best is that it counts aerobic steps and total steps. There are days when she does a lot of casual walking in the office but the intensity and benefits are not the same as when she goes out for a 30 minute dedicated walk. Highly recomment this product.

So far, after two weeks of using this pedometer, it has yet to shut off. In the instructions, it says after 5 minutes of not touching any buttons or moving it, it should shut off on its own. It does not. I was the fourth person of my group of friends that are training for a 60 mile marathon, that purchased the same model pedometer, and we all have the same issue. Besides that, it seems to be accurate and it isn't as sensitive to false (non-walking) movement as others I have had. I would recommend this product!

Had to add a block of wood on each side of the door to make the plastic support bar on the other side flat against the wall. After this it supports my weight good. I weight about 180 lbs. I live in a trailer house and the interior walls are probably made with 2x3s so this is probably the reason I had to modify the doorway. Keep this in mind when ordering. Iron Gym should list the wall sizes that the pullup bar fits. This would save a lot of work.

I am an athlete, military, and a gym junkie and I can say without a doubt that this is a great piece of equipment. I just started using it, but based on it's performance thus far, I am thoroughly pleased. It is extremely sturdy and easy to assemble. However, as previously mentioned, I just started using it. So if anything changes in regard to it's reliability I will definitely post another review. But for now all I can say is awesome.

It came with the only tool I needed to assemble it and took me about 25 min to put it together (I'm a slow screwer).

I am 150lbs so I'm no where near the max but it holds my weight very well. I do not fear that it will fall and I don't feel it shift when I'm doing my sets. Like other reviewers said, you have to lift it up before you can remove it from the doorway.

Definitely measure your doorway before you buy it. I had to put it in different doorway than I had planned because it wasn't long enough, but that was my own fault. They sell an longer bar for an extra $10 but it wasn't worth it to me.

Again, I can't stress enough how happy I am with this product.

And DO NOT BUY if your door frame is thicker than 6" (read: in older homes). Our home dates from the 1890s and we didn't think about measuring before picking this up. Unfortunately, our door frames are about 8" thick, so it does not fit! Looks to be nice quality, but waste of money. Really bummed. :(

I had never used a CamelBak before, so I was wary about the biting down part. It works fine, just as it is supposed to. I have to pinch the lips of the bite valve together sometimes to get it to not leak, and I feel like I am using a sippy cup.
I think it would work great in a more active setting than I am using right now.

I love the Camelbak bottles. I never go anywhere without them, seriously! One of the best features is that they maintain the coolness of the water fairly well. I leave mine in the car a lot and the first sip (that was in the spout) is hot, but after that, pretty much the temp. that I put it in there as. A very good trait in the CA valley where it gets to be 110 degrees every summer! However I didn't realize that the 1 Liter was a little bigger than the ones I already had. It doesn't fit in most cup holders (like my car's) alas. Other than that, it's wonderful. Easy to clean, Easy to sip from on the go and keep hydrated. I'll remember to get the .75 liter ones in the future. The only reason I had to order 2 was because over the last 2 years I lost a couple :( But the ones I still have just keep going and going.... :) Oh, as a side note, this is not the best bottle to take backpacking. Car camping, yes, but backpacking, I'd stick to just a bladder and hose (like Platypus).

Not much to say that has not been said in the 500+ reviews of this product but this is my 3rd one because I wanted a smaller size. They hold up extremely well, I have had the other two for ~4yrs and one has gotten hard to suck out of because the little flap on the one way valve that lets air in as you drink (in the center of the cap next to the screw)is not working right. Not sure what the deal is b/c it looks fine. I used to be able to clean it to make it work better but that does not help anymore. Regardless that is after tons of use over 4 years so I don't have a problem saying it is time to replace it (plus they were not BPA free back then)!

I've owned this bottle for a couple months now and I have no complaints. Well, strike that, I have one complaint: the cap has been known to leak unless you close it with a very precise amount of torque - which you will learn in time.

I've heard that some people have had problems with mold growing inside the bite valve but I haven't experienced that, and to be honest, I haven't cleaned it since the day I started using it. I purchased an extra bite valve (which also came with 3 extra straws), just in case, but I don't think I'll need it for a very long time.

Otherwise, the water flows well, it's fairly durable (I've dropped it dozens of times) and attractive, and the water tastes only of water, not plastic.

I'm happy with my purchase.

I used the xertube once, I did not buy it. It was sent to my brother from his online high school. I placed the tube under my feet as directed, it rolled from under my feet, shot me directly in the right eye. My vision went black for about 15 minutes. To make a long story short, I now have an Opercullated Hole in my eye, possible Retinal detachment, hospital Bills and loss of some of my eye sight. This product is DANGEROUS. All products out there now have a warning: Wear Eye protection, severe head or eye injury may occur. The new tubes come with a nylon sleeve, so that this massive rubberband cannot take your eye out. I told SPRI about this and they had me contact their Ins. Co. They told me, well since we sell hundreds of thousands of these items we dont feel we are responsible for this. Their product is made in Mexico, with no warnings, no protective sleeve. This product is like having a rubberband (large rubberband)( shooting at your face at approx 50 or more mph. SPRI Products , Inc. does not stand behind their product, and no concern about who is injured or how many. The bottom line is they sold hundreds of thousands of these things. I love this product - at-first... I thought the small handles would be an issue but it's not. In-fact I used another brand of resistance bands with bigger handles to see if I'd like it more but I didn't and came back to this model.

The ONLY problem is the knob that comes with this to put into a door is TINY - I used it once and it actually popped out.

I was expecting a much better product. Although it met my needs regarding size and environmental impact, it is made of poor stainless steel material (another poorly made product from China). After a couple of uses, the water has a metallic taste. No telling what it is I am really drinking as there is no way of knowing what is leaching into my water. I will be recycling this! Very disappointed and I will be using a glass from now on. I cannot recommend this product at all.

This is a great sports bottle. Very easy to clean. The water tastes like it should, it does not take on the flavor of the bottle. One thing...do not freeze water in it. I did that and it deformed my bottle, causing the bottom to bulge out. My mistake. I like this bottle so much I bought another, smaller one to fit in the cup holders on my truck. I still use them both. I see no signs of wear other than paint chipping on the frozen bottle, to be expected.

The perfect alternative to PLASTIC. I have 4 of these (2 for me, 2 for hubby!) - two different sizes. The larger one is on my desk and the other by my recliner for evening use. I also take the smaller one with me in the car. I fill them from our RO unit and there is never any off taste. Ease of use is a bonus. I have dropped a full bottle a couple of times with no leakage or denting. I purchased the "spout" type cap and use it instead of the loop cap. Will buy for the kids and grandkids for birthdays, etc. GREAT PRODUCT!

I run regularly- generally 45 minutes to an hour 3-4 times a week. I bought this hoping to step up my exercise and it delivers. I've been disappointed by other fitness DVD's that are easy after the first few times or too complicated to follow. The warm up on this one is harder than most fitness DVD's are all together.

This one is great- the workouts are simple to follow, but really hard. I need to take breaks and modify exercises at times, but I still feel I get a killer workout. Truth be told, I'd be disappointed if I didn't struggle the first few times. I feel like I am getting a great total body workout- the plank work is helping my upper body, something running does not address and the plyo jumps are taxing my legs in a good way. The stretching is good as well.

I will say- I have some back issues but a week into this and my back is not hurting. I think this DVD is not for a "first time exerciser", but if you have a level of fitness and some idea of how to modify exercises on your own, you'll get use out of this. For example- if jump squats are killing me, I might do the last 10 seconds as regular squats. I look forward to being able to match Shaun jump for jump!

And this is a great workout- it leaves me good sore and good tired. I'd put the exertion up there with a 10 mile run in terms of what it takes out of my body. It also includes a sensible looking eating plan.

there should be an extreme notice for this workout: it is most definitely not for everyone. if you are already in great shape, and are looking to enhance your workout, then this might just be for you.
If you are looking to get into shape, this is most definitely not for you! There is no way that a beginner or intermediate could handle this, which sort of goes against the grain of buying such a product to get back into shape!

My girlfriend and I love to walk and this pedometer fits our lifestyle perfectly. We now try to compete to see who can reach 10,000 steps first. If we don't make 10k we often go for a walk after dinner. This pedometer is very accurate and the software makes keeping track of our steps simple. I recommend this product to anyone looking to improve the activity level in their lives; especially if you are goal oriented and need a little extra motivation. Three weeks and we still use them everyday.

Overall the pedometer is great with the major exception of it can't be manually reset or stopped. When I take it in the truck with me to work, it counts every bump as a step, so by the time I get to work I've already walked 'X' hundreds of steps. If this could be shut off when not actually walking, I would give it 5 stars. I haven't loaded the software to check out that feature yet. I am looking forward to see how many steps and distance I've 'walked' this past week.

I love this product. It's very accurate in both running and walking. I would recommend this product to anyone who wanted to keep track of their distance anytime because you don't have to wear it on your belt the whole time. You can stick it in your laptop bag or purse while your wearing business clothes and nobody knows it's there. The only drawback is that I wish there was a patch to upgrade the software to be compatible with Windows 7.

Just one word for this Pedometer is superb. It has all the functionality that you may wish for. Previous pedometers would count up when I was driving this one just clip it on and it does the rest (no false steps). The software is easy to use (once you figure out the somewhat counter intuitive menus). The belt clip design could be improved as could the security clip (I replaced it with closed hook type from a USB memory stick).
You will not sorry if you buy this item. The software really supports your goal setting, but beware you may be seen out late in your neighborhood just to achieve your target. As a gadget person I definitely nominate the HJ-7201TC as my gadget of the year.

This really seems like a great item but unfortunately we will never know because it just does not fit the way it is suppose to. Our house was built in the 20's. The door wars are all wood and quite wide. They are probably 2x the width of the ones today. I was totally unable to put it up on any door in the home. Its not that exciting as a floor workout. Anyone want to buy it from me?

I read most of the reviews on this product about doorway width but must have missed the one on frame thickness. Our house is 80 yrs old with very thick walls and door framework. The curvy bar was too shallow to fit around our woodwork. Our frames are 7 inches thick all told and the bar was too shallow for it. Very disappointing, since I was really looking forward to using this equipment. Other than that it seemed simple to put together and install, and sufficiently constructed.

I'm 5'2 so the rope is pretty long and I don't know how to adjust it so I roll it on my hand as I did when I was a little girl. My only problem is adjustment other than that it a good rope for it's price

I'm 5'5 and have no problem using the rope. I got frustrated with the adjustment process and decided to use it the way it is. I love the rope! It has the best value and best design of all ropes I've used. It may be difficult to use at first. But every rope is like a new workout routine because of weight and length difference. Eventually one gets used to the rope and the exercise. I'm curious to see how long it takes before this rope wears out and break in half. Good luck to everyone.

I am 6 feet tall. I read the reviews before buying this too! But I was not clear and thinking that I am tall enough for this. But I was wrong. There is no adjustment available. I bought a pair of them thinking that my wife can have her own. For her this rope is very long and not adjustable. She is trying to wrap excess rope around her hands. However that is not helping her in any way from what I observed while she is skipping.

I recommend try to look for one it offers adjustable rope. I didn't try opening the handles to see if I can cut the rope a bit at the edge. Once I try opening the handle I will post my findings back.

It is priced well and good quality item. If the manufacturer can provide the rope adjustment this is a the best in this price range.
