I bought this for my husband and I because it is so hard to get to the gym everyday. It really is convenient to have in the house, because when you see it you think to use it. I tend to use it at random times, if I am just passing by I will do a couple of pull ups just for the heck of it. I think it encourages you to do that - so it can only be a good thing!

The handles are comfortable, and the cushion on the bars is nice and gripy. For average people the hand grip spacing was a little too wide if you use the outer grips, and a little too narrow if you use the inner grips. For me it feels pretty solid, and I am not afraid that it will collapse or give way (I only weigh in at 125 lbs). For my husband, he uses it and likes it, however I do see it flexing under his weight. He weighs in at 185 lbs, so it's not like he is hefty or anything! But, he says it feels fairly solid for him too. Our buddy tried it, and he weighs in at about 200 lbs, he was worried that our door frame might give out, not that the bar would give out. Since our house was built in the 1950's, he could be right! It did hold him, and he did several pull ups on it and was impressed. My only suggestion is that I would like to see it a little heftier in the tubing portion, so it would be a bit more solid. But being able to just put it up in pretty much any doorway without damage or permanent installation is a great feature and I think worth it.

We haven't used it for it's other uses, such as sit ups yet. But I would imagine it would be handy for that too. Definitely not a waste of money, well - only if you don't use it I guess!

I'm 16 years old and at my age I'm attempting to get more into shape and becoming confident about my body. I'm about average as most teenagers I would say but I really wanted to see sense a growth in the muscle in my arms as well as getting general exercise. For the price and the absence of any hassle assembling the equipment, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. It isn't easy, but true exercise shouldn't be. So, check it out!

My wife got this for me as a christmas gift. I let her assemble it and it took her 5 min. I was nervous at first thinking it was gunna fall off the door but it really is solid once your on it. I only use it for pull ups right now but since I done have any other bar to use this works well.

This is my second Omron Pedometer bought in 2008. I have not only used it myself but have liked it enough to gift it to a friend, and have recommended it to others.

Simple, straightforward to use, reliable and consistent.

The only drawback is for people like me who like to walk and run. Because the calculation of the distance is based on number of steps, if the step is any shorter or longer, it does not really compensate for that. Once you've setup step length - thats the basis of calculation.

2 step settings would have helped!

Work's great! I wish I had something more insightful to say, however I bought this as a gift for my wife, and she's been the primary user 99.9% of the time. That said, I have used it once to count my steps in a typical work day and was impressed that the predicted distance that I cover matched up very near my own estimation (basically, I guessed that from my parking space to my cubicle is about 1/4 mile, and that's about how many steps the pedometer displayed).

I have been trying to steer clear of bottled water not just for environmental concerns, but the health concerns as well. I just LOVE the Klean Kanteen bottles, I swear it even makes the water taste better! SHIPPING:
I surprisingly received it three days after ordering from Amazon. My second purchase the same order took a little over a week, even though I chose free shipping, which I thought meant they'd send them both at the same time with whichever being the latest. So, I liked that they sent each of them as soon as possible.

THE PRODUCT:
I've had no problems whatsoever. The only minor complaint I have is that it had a metallic taste for the first week or so. I had to wash it out about 3-4 times to remove it.

In terms of further improvements, I wish it were dual-layered to help retain the cool/warm temperature without possibly effecting the surfaces it may touch, like foods or any kinds of surfaces that don't react well with moisture from the condensation. Also, in terms of to the touch as well, I'd prefer if they used some sort of outer coating that would make it more neutral temperature (eg. sitting in a car during the summer for a few hours) and that it had a fine sand paper-like texture for better grip. So there's room for improvement in advancing subtle comfort and ease of use, but it works well enough as advertised in my short experience.

We bought these so we wouldn't have to buy cases of water in plastic bottles anymore. Aside from the whole plastic issue, we were tired of running out of water and not having any to take on walks. Now we can refill our Kleen Kanteens with our filtered water at home, and we're good to go.

The one problem I have run into with my pink Kanteen is that I have had it less than 2 months and it is already looking really rough. It chipped in a few places when I dropped it, and there are dents. Also some streaks where I guess it rubbed up against another object in m backpack. If I had to do it o ver again I would get the plain stainless one like my husband has - his has a dent from dropping it but still mostly looks nice.

Bought these ripsticks for 2 granddaughters. We left them under the tree till the very last. Both looked around and there eyes showed ok, Christmas is over and look what we got. Then I mentioned, "look there is 2 other presents under the tree." Both girls got wide eyed and asked, "who are they for, granny". I pulled them out and they ripped them open and screamed, "We got them in our favorite color, geen and pink. Let's go outside and try them now." One was already good at the ripstick from her older sister, the smallest granddaughtr, learned within an 1 hour and was going up and down the slopes of the sidewalk. What a grand Christmas! So glad we looked on Amazon - couldn't find the green anywhere else or the price as low.

We got this for my son for Christmas, and as he said, it was his favorite gift this year. It take a little work to get going, but once you figure it out its great fun.

Overall product seems well built: heavy duty casters, heavy plastic deck, and quality wheels and bearings.

The board is heavy, but with a max supported weight of 220 lbs it is certainly sturdy.

In terms of durability, I can't speak for the long term, but it has held up well to everyone in the neighborhood (adults included) riding it for several hours a day over the last couple weeks.

Riding the RipStik is more like snowboarding than skateboarding, and you quickly learn that stepping off to kick, is not a good idea. The board comes with an "How To" video and I recommend you watch it, as it provides a good introduction to riding it and teaches you how to turn and generate speed.

Overall I would have to agree with my son, it's My favorite gift that he got this year as well.

I'm 50, I didn't buy them to recapture my youth. I had to carry my lovely granddaughter Ava around a department store for an hour. I had to hold my arm out a bit from my chest so her legs didn't get squished. I am a garbage man, in pretty good shape all considering. My arms, I didn't know if they ached or the burning sensation was worst. Had to do something, I love my granddaughter, and wouldn't miss a moment holding her. Ok got the perfect push up, cranked out the sets of eight on my knees (I got a bum back). I brought them because I got a matching bum left wrist, and using this thing didn't aggravate it. Course I went over the top, I wasn't straining, but the next day I occasionally had those sharp searing pains that would make you soil your pants. The next time, did the same, eventually the pain will go away or I will pass out first. Pain is nothing, at my age, you have two types of muscles, those that hurt, and the others that go numb (pinched nerve in my neck/elbow). All in all, it is worth it, being able to hold that angel and watch her eyes looking around. I can tell you for the money, for me, it was worth it. I threw the instructions, I kind of figured the name tells you what to do, push up. Don't know about the DVD, haven't figured out how to use the machine, will have to wait till my daughter comes over. Do I have a younger looking body, you bet my daughter says I don't look 50, I could easily pass for 49 ½ . I found another use for them. When my wife was sleeping, I yelled clear, slapped them on her chest yelling, live dam it, live. Well she knocked the fool out of me, ended up having to get my own dinner (a can of corn) and a ham sandwich without the ham.

I got these things for Christmas, and even though I have only used them for about a week, they are already working wonders. I used to do 40 pushups a night. With these, I use the workout chart that is given and I am doing 60+ easy. Not only do they work great. They are also alot more comfortable then doing regular pushups. You dont feel even the slightest pain in your forearms when you do this. I recommend these 150%!!

First of all, if you know you have a rotator cuff injury, do NOT use a product that rotates your arm and shoulder under the stress of your body weight!

Also, some reviewers complain of wrist and hand strain from using the product. I'd suggest paying close attention to wrist and hand position and stability when using the PP handles.

My wife and I do a commercial work-out routine (which I won't mention by name in this review) and trade off the PP handles and our standard push-up stands depending on which kind of push-ups we're doing.

The PP handles don't work very well for push-up postures where your hands are either really close together (diamond) or really far apart (fly), but when you're working on shoulder-width postures, they do give your muscles an extra workout. I could do 40-50 push-ups at a time on the floor or with my other stands, but when I first used the PP handles I could only manage about 15-20. Now I'm getting 30-40 and definitely see and feel the results.

They don't really give you an advantage over standard push-up stands when it comes to getting deeper range of motion, however. I've seen a couple of reviews claiming otherwise, but my stands give me almost a full inch more depth.

In my experience, they work, but not for everything... just like every other workout item I have.

The portability of this bottle is fantastic- I love just being able to grab it from anywhere by the grey loop-mostly from the floor next to my bed-its my night water drink bottle. While not having to tilt it upwards to get a drink took some getting used to, the soft blue tip that you sip the water through certainly made up for that. I've already bought another!

Nice bottles. No plastic smell. 0.75 liters do not fit on most car cup holders. Cap has a valve for air intake (I think) while you are sipping. I bought 4 bottles (different size but same cap) only one cap works nicely. Valves on other caps do not seem to be letting air in properly and are just a little bit harder to drink from. If you want to take a big gulp of water, you may get a little frustrated. But, they all work.

Buying a water bottle rather than recycling a plastic bottle is conspicuous consumption. You could buy a single squeeze bottle of water at a convienence store and refill it dozens of times for the price of this bottle.

But if you're going to indulge in this particular instance of conspicuous consumption, this is the water bottle to buy. An internal straw so you don't have to tilt your head back, a bite valve and a valve in the spout so it doesn't leak. The lever to open the valve is well designed and easy to use with one hand. And a loop to hang it from your belt, backpack, or whatever.

Throw your environmental conscience to the side and indulge yourself.

As far the Crocs Mammoth Clog, I would highly recommend you get a pair. These shoes are AWESOME. I bought my red pair for $30, and that's the cheapest price I could find on the web. I wear these shoes all the time and they keep my feet nice and warm. The only problem I have had with my shoes is, the lining somewhat becomes messed up at times when I take my foot out of the shoe (The lining comes with my foot since I don't think it is glued in).

I got the Omron HJ-720ITC on a recommendation from a nutritionist to keep track of (and increase) my exercise levels -- I had become a sedentary slug. The thing is terrific. Clips on your belt and off you go. It's very motivating, its extremely accurate, and you forget it's there. This model keeps track of loads of information: 7 days on the unit itself, and much longer if you plug it into the computer with the included software. I should probably use the software, but I don't. Nice to know I could, I suppose. The only flaw is the belt clip. It's not very beefy, which is great for walking, but not great for running. If I don't use the extra strap and secondary (smaller, but sturdier) clip, it sometimes falls off when I run and dangles from the strap. I think I've figured out how to position it so it doesn't fall off as much, but it should also be an easy fix (make the clip stronger and grippier). The best thing about this product is that it helps the transition from walking to other exercises. I started out walking (because that's all I could manage). After a couple of weeks, I mixed in some elliptical trainer, and now I'm running as well.

I've had five or six pedometers over the past couple of years, and none have given me the kind of performance I'd hoped for. I've had several clip on types, and one that was a slim, credit card style for carrying in your pockets, but they all had issues of one kind or another, and none were truly satisfactory. This Omron works as advertised, and it's nearly all perfect.

I like the fact that it retains 7 days worth of step counting. I like the fact that it will give you numerous readouts at the press of a button. I like that it will allow you to hook up to a computer via USB, and import all your data from the past several weeks, and display it in a variety of ways. I especially like that it has a small strap with an alligator clip, for attaching to your waistband or belt loop. I attach mine to a belt loop and drop it in my pocket. It counts steps all day, and never gets in the way or gets caught on anything outside. I never worry about losing it or dropping it. (It also comes with a small "cradle" which can also attach to your belt, but for my use, I find that too bulky.)

After many previous wild goose chases on my part, this pedometer is finally a bull's eye. Money well spent!

My husband and I each have one of these and have been using them daily since June '08. I bought one for my brother who just started running again. We love how we can download the data and track our progress. My husband's unit stopped working, but Omron replaced it (under warranty), so we were happy with their service. I'd recommend this unit.

I have owned this pedometer for exactly 7 months now and it and the software still works fine I replaced the batter 2 weeks ago so the battery lasts about 6months exactly what its supposed to, great product very accurate and I get to keep track of my better months to see improvement or if Im slacking off!

5stars - "The best pedometer I have owned" (J. Perez)

We got 2 of these about a month ago. We calibrated them easy using a measuring wheel to accurately assess distance. The units do a better job of counting steps than any other pedometers we have used. The unit comes with a holder with a built-in clip and a supplementary lanyard with a clip. I found out that I need both of them because I am pretty active and the built-in clip does not always stay attached to my pants. Be aware that pedometers are for walking. Use a Nike+ with your iPod or a Garmin when you go running. The software is pretty intuitive and the installation did not cause any problems on our computers, which are running Windows XP. If you are at least modestly computer literate, you should have no problems with it. The software is the reason why we bought these. It is much more fun and more motivating if you can see your progress (or not!). So get one and get moving. It's fun, it's cheap, and it's good for you!

P90X by far is the best program on the market. It far surpasses any workout that I've done. Follow the program and YOU WILL see results. Your life will change in more ways than one. I started off thinking Oh no another goofy infomercial but then I really listened to what Tony had been saying and the interesting thing is I started doing what he calls Muscle Confusion a few months before I'd even seen the P90X commercial. I did a different workout dvd everyday prior to P90X. When I saw the infomercial I thought he this guy has created a system that does just that. A different well structured workout everyday. This program has changed my life.

I feel more confident, beautiful (inside and out) and I look at myself and others in a more positive light. Check out the Awesome YouTube community just Type in P90X and see real people just like you and me who have made amazing transformations. Watch the video journals... everyday people show you themselves on video day one and then watch the 90 day video. No trickery just the real deal. I can even do one arm pushups something I would never in my life have imagined doing before P90X.

You will also be amazed at what you can do after doing YogaX. The positions are endless and may even improve life in the bedroom. I'm way more flexible than I ever was.

I can't say enough about how life changing this program is.

It's worth every penny. You'll feel like you've gotten your money worth 100 times over.

PX90 is wonderful. Im not going to lie to you, its gonna kick your butt. its a great way to tone up and lose weight. the only problem i have with it is working out for like over a hour everyday. but once u commit yourself it works out great.

I've been using P90X videos for two years and just bought a set for a friend. I have a busy job and two kids, making workouts tough to schedule. Tony's workouts are just that, 45-55 min of muscle and cardio stress. If I can just get myself to show up to the DVD player in the basement, Tony takes care of the rest. I have a good week that balances excercise with everything else.

You'll need some hand weights and something for pullups (pullup bar, bands, or, like me, an old weight machine). For hand weights, expect to spend a lot of time in the 8' - 20' range. Chest / tri / bi workouts need 20' - 45' range.
