I feel like I have really saved quite a bit on water from using the HydroRight. It's a great device that is very easy to install. I definitely recommend turning the water off coming into your tank before you start installing it. I'm impressed with how little water it uses to flush and still manages to clear out the bowl. I have it on a 1.6 gallon toilet and it's working great (double savings in comparison to pre-1994 toilets). I've tried convincing others to buy this little device as well because it honestly works. My only drawback is the actual buttons. It would be easier if the button were a handle/flusher because the button hits the toilet lid. In other words, you always have to move the lid out of the way to flush. However, it's easy to choose between the full flush and the partial flush but I think the button sizes should be reversed from the way they are (the partial flush button is the smaller button on the device). Overall, I would rate it as a 4 out of 5.

I have to say that installation was super easy. literally took me 20 minutes and that's cause i took my time reading the directions. I didn't have to use any tools or even turn off the water. This product does exactly what it's meant to do.

The only complaint i have is that it takes a good amount of pressure to push in the buttons. Usually its not that intuitive to push that hard. Guests usually get confused with the thing. If they had a better flusher mechanism i would say this would be perfect. But can't complain about the price i bought it for and the amount its gonna save me.

Like others have said, the single flush does not work well, you have to hold the button in for about 3 seconds for it to flush toilet paper, otherwise it would get 5 stars.
I installed this in a 1980s era American Standard Plebe toilet. I also bought the MJSI HydraClean Fill Valve at the same time because it was recommended for toilet tanks with the old ballcock which may interfere with the installation of the converter. My ballcock did not interfere with the installation so I didn't install the fill valve. I may install it in the future if my old fill valve dies, or I just get the ambition to mess with the toilet plumbing.
I will be buying two more Dual Flush converters for my other 2 AS Plebe toilets,

I have now replaced all of the flappers on all three toilets in my house with these. I ordered one to make sure that the dual flush mechanism would actually work and flush everything on the single flush. It worked perfectly on the first toilet on and I ordered 2 more.

The mechanism to attach the device is a simply cable tie. It comes with one already attached. I did have to cut off the one that came installed on the unit and use the spare that was included to get this to slide down over the fill tube. Not really an issue, but you might want to remember it when you install. And, the size of the fill tube was not an issue. One of the toilets in the house had a very large fill tube. I was able to use a bigger cable tie and it works perfectly.

I had the correct type of water supply in all of my toilets. As others have mentioned, check to make sure you have the correct fill type in your toilet.

The units are very adjustable for both the single and full flush. It does take a few minutes to get all of that adjusted correctly.

I have gotten my first water bill since I've installed them. With these converters only installed for half of the billing cycle, my daily water usage went down 15 gallons a day for a 2 person household. I'm assuming that this will go up to 20 or more gallons a day when it covers the whole billing cycle.

I am really pleased with the results and would recommend that anyone who wants to save water, without replacing your toilets, this is a great option.

Product did not work in my toilet. I called mjsi and they were really helpful. Great cutsomer service. Would definitely go out of my way to buy one of their products again. Not crazy about ace hardware outlet's return policy. They could have been just a litle more attentive,in replying to emails, or flexible in allowing me to return this product and get something else, since this product was not working.

PROS:
It was extremely easy to remove the existing filter and install the new one. It's nice to be able to get filtered water without having one of thoase bulky filters on your sink water tap.
CONS:
I think it is rediculous that these filters are so expensive. I use this water to fill my coffee maker which is the type that only makes one cup at a time. This allows you to use all opf the water and not throw out half a pot of unused coffee.if you use this water for your coffee maker in addition to drinking, the filter onl;y lasts about two monthswhich at about $40.00 can be extremely expensive.

We have a Kitchenaid fridge, and the water comes out tasting great. But it takes forever to come out! It's so time consuming to stand there with this filter that I've gone back to drinking terrible poison tap water because I don't have three minutes (literally three whole minutes) to fill a 14-oz glass. I purchased this like a week ago and i must say the filter does its job. Water tastes wonderful, very smooth i simply love it.Be aware that the price is better at Walmart. Been using these for a couple of years now, and my only complaint is that sometimes they take 12 -24 hours to filter one gallon of water - and although one might expect that as the filter got dirty it would clog up and slow down, it seems completely arbitrary - one filter will get that slow after 2 days use, while another might take 2 weeks, and yet another will never slow down, and I'll just change it because it's time. So, probably 8 out of 10 times I'm changing the filter before it should be needed because I can't stand to wait so long for it to do it's job. I asked customer service about this when I first started using them, and they said to take it out of the the pitcher and shake it up, but that does nothing.
Still it's a better deal than bottled water, so until I hear of a better one, I guess I'll keep using them...

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator this year that used an in-line water filter for ice-maker and water spout. I have used Kenmore products for years and very satisfied with them. I'm not written a review on the Kenmore product, but that is what is using this water filter. When my display on my refrigerator said i needed to replace my water filter I called Sears to purchase the replacement. I was in shell shock of the price. They wanted up to $50 for the filter. I decided to read other reviews and find out more about the specific water filter used by this brand. Found out that you do not need to buy from Sears. I ordered the same brand water filter with out the sears name on it and saved about $15. So I paid around $30 from Amazon. Great price! My previous in-line water filters were external from the fridge, so I didn't need any specific style filter, just one that would fit in the water line. With my new fridge things are a little different. The filter is attached to the fridge under the door. Very simple to replace. I'm glad I found a less expensive way of replacing the water filter for my new fridge. Thanks Amazon....

Had ordered this filter since the refregirator (Kenmore Elite) displayed the filter status as "order." The filter arrived apprxoimately 4 biz days with free shipping and the filter status still displayed as "order" and eventually changed to "replace" after a couple of more weeks later. Getting old one out and putting new one in took less than a minute.
The filter instruction recommands about 3 gallons of flush for the first use and that's a bit of downside but maybe common for other brand as well(?)
The water tastes good that's all it counts.

The good: the filter is quite easy to install(although I needed pliers,which the instructions said were not needed). The water quality is really great.
The not-so-good: You must change the cartridge every 2 months. The company claims you simply turn the
old cartridge counterclockwise and install the new replacement cartridge. I tried it,and found that the original
cartridge would not turn at all. Now the unit leaks slightly,and I must buy the entire unit if I am to continue
filtering water with this product.
My bottom line: a new unit every 2 months.

We had an old GE faucet filter whose element had long since worn out and we went to buying bottled water. So, we recently tried to buy refills for it and couldn't, but found out that the Culligan FM-15RA refills would fit it. So, we bought five of them.

Now, we are drinking Culligan-filtered water with dinner and refilling our used bottles again. The water tastes better than the originals! We're sold on Culligan refills from now on.

I have had my Frigidare refrigerator for about 5 years now. The filters used to have a thick housing over the two smaller cylinders and it worked wonderfully. I never experienced any problems with those filters. About 2 years ago they changed the design taking away the outer housing leaving only the two smaller cylinders. Since then I have been through 8 filters in two years. When you cover the outlet hole and blow into the inlet hole, you can see the water spirt out of the side of the cartridge. It doesn't always occur at the top seal; however, many times the leak is in the plastic but you can see where the seam glue has run down to the spot where it's leaking. It appears that the glue they are using is dissolving the weak plastic and causing it to leak. I'm not sure what you can do about it but I just save my receipts and take them back about every 2-4 months when they fail. It's a pain but the manufacturer won't do anything about it. I just won't buy another Frigidare in the future!

These Water filters are super expensive to buy at local stores($45-$50), but at least you can find them on the internet for around $32 with shipping. My refrigerator light will usually stay green for around 7 months, but I'll keep it for at least a year. When you water flow gets weak, you know it's time to change the filter.

I bought this to replace mine which had been in the machine for over 6 months. I think it works, but there was only a slight difference in the taste, if any at all. I was hoping that this would improve the taste of my coffee since my old filter was so bad, but didn't do that. Nevertheless, the goal of this product is to filter water, not necessarily improve taste. Since it does that, it still gets a 5-star.

I purchased this filter hoping it would live up to expectations and it absolutely did. Setup was a breeze and the water tastes great. I normally drink tap water since bottled water is not regulated that well and can contain bacteria. When I unscrewed the tip of my faucet to attach the filter, I was amazed how much calcium and dirt buildup there was on the regular faucet screen. I attached the Culligan filter and the water looked a lot clearer and tasted much cleaner/fresher.

It's important to remember that right after you install the filter you need to let it run for 10 minutes to clear out any filter debris (which is harmless, but does effect the clarity of the water if you don't flush the filter first).

I highly recommend this filter as it is well worth the minimal cost and will save you a load of money by eliminating the need to buy bottled water.

This thing is perfect. First faucet filter that I buy and I'm glad I trusted the reviews in Amazon, rather than buying other more popular brands.
The filter is easy to mount and makes clean and tasty water.
Now I have the convenience of not having to carry gallons of water from the shop and I also save money - it will make 200 gallons with one filter, so your cost is less than $0.10 for a gallon of clean, fresh water.
The manual says to replace it every 200 gallons or 2 months, but I calculated I use about 30 gallons a month and I'm using the filter for 4 months already without any decrease of water quality or speed.
The only cons that I could think of is that the water flow is a bit slow as other reviews also noted, but that's not a issue for me at all. I would like if it removed fluorides too, but I understand that this is a feature of the more advanced and expensive reverse osmosis systems.
The verdict - if you want convenient, cheap, clean and fresh water, look no further - buy this filter!

First, the water tastes reallygood. Or I should say it doesn't taste, so I rate the product as excellent. Second, to respond to the other reviews which characterize the auto switch button as not working: WHO CARES? For the price and quality, It is NO hardship to push the button back. Mine never worked. But I'm coming from years of Brita whose non-auto-switch-back lever never ceased to annoy me. Third, this filter's lack of "indicator light" when it's time to change filters: I never trusted those things anyway. I solved that problem by doing the following: I fill a 1-gallon bottle of water each time and write a simple slash marking on a piece of paper which I hang on the fridge. Since this is my first time with this product, I'll only have to do this process once to get an idea of how long it takes me to use 200 gallons. Interestingly enough this solved the other complaint of others that the flow was too slow. I just pour from the gallon jug for whatever needs I have and thus control the "flow rate." I also disagree that the flow rate from the filter is slow. But if your impatience quotient is high, it's easier to put the gallon jug under the faucet and do some other tasks while it is filling, than stand around waiting for a glass to fill. But even then, gimme a break. That's NO hardship. Regarding where to buy the filters, duh, how about Amazon and buy a bunch at at time? For the price, quality and the fact that it doesn't come flying off the faucet, this is a 5-star

We have gone through a dozen different types of shower heads in the last year trying to find one we're happy with. This is it. The flow is great. You can use the one on hose end by itself or use it while letting the one that's permanently attached at top flow at the same time. It took my husband just a few minutes to install. He says if you hold the arm coming out of shower firmly and don't swivel the unit as you put it on (rather you should tighten the bolt or thingie by itself to attach), then you will have no leaks. We have none, so evidently he done it right. The hose isn't as long as our old one but it still reaches good enough for us to bathe dogs with. If you have a really huge bath though and you want it to reach to the far end, you might not be happy though. A really good price on this product too. We've tried others that were nearly this expensive that didn't do half as good a job and tore up in no time.

I just had the best shower of my life. The Peerless 2-in-1 system delivered water in a wide spray so that large parts of my body were covered at once. I didn't have to move back and forth to get coverage, and I didn't feel cold air on other parts of my body (as I do when the shower has a dead spot in the center, or a narrow stream). I could switch easily between just having the outside U-shaped part spraying, just having the handheld part spraying, or having both (my preference). It was also easy to choose the different spray options from the handheld portion, from need through massage through heavy stream, to just straight spraying.

I'll try to report back in a few months on longevity, but right now this is better than any rainshower or multi-choice shower head I have tried. I even prefer it to having multiple shower heads spraying me from different angles. Too bad it doesn't come in brass or gold (the rest of my fixtures are gold), but to me the physical experience is more important than matching colors. It is at least a decent-looking shower head, not like the cheap white plastic ones that some manufacturers make.

My experience was the same as reviewer Craigarious' The valve part leaked a lot from the knob area where one would switch to a different type of water spray. I didn't even use it once. I am returning the item to Amazon. I have never returned anything to Amazon, however, per its return instructions, it seems as though it will be a pretty easy process. I have gone back to using my trusty Waterpik which I have been using for years.
